Natasha and her baby

"I'm not the one you should say sorry to, sestra" Natasha said as they both looked at Julie who was asleep with puffy eyes and dried tear tracks along her cheeks

Yelena just sighed "yeah you're right, I'll apologize when she wakes up"

Yelena started the car and gently drove off, not trying to wake their precious cargo. They drove in silence, thinking about what happened and how they could avoid it in the future and occasionally glancing at their baby who was still fast asleep.

I slowly started to stir, my head was resting on the side of my carseat and I felt that a soft blanket was draped over me. I was cozy and warm and my head still felt fuzzy from sleep, I heard Natasha and Yelena softly talking, but I was still too out of it to understand anything. I tried to open my eyes, but they quickly drooped close again because I was still too tired. Suddenly I felt a hand on my knee which started to stroke up too my thigh and back to my knee in soothing motions. I opened my eyes again, looking at a softly smiling Natasha who was looking at me from the front seat. 

"Hey baby, you can go back to sleep. We're not arriving for another 40 minutes so you still can get some sleep" Natasha mumbled softly, trying to get me to sleep again. 

I nodded, too tired to form a response. I closed my eyes again, Natasha still stroking my leg and I started too drift away again.

When Natasha was sure I was asleep again, she pulled her arm away and sat straight again. Trying to get more comfortable for the 40 minutes they had left.

When they arrived 40 minutes later, Julie was still asleep so they started to silently unpack the car, leaving Julie too snooze for a bit more. Natasha grabbed her and Julies suitcase and made her way to her room, she would be bunking with her in Natasha's room because Natasha didn't want to leave her alone just yet. There was a soft pink crib set up in the corner of the room, adorned with colorful birds around the bars and soft pink curtains alongside it. She quickly unpacked their suitcases, knowing that Julie was still sound asleep in the car because she had placed a baby monitor right beside her. She stocked their bathroom, made her bed with some fresh bedsheets and quickly dusted some of the shelves. 

When Natasha finished it was around 3 PM, ready to wake Julie because otherwise she wouldn't sleep trough the night anymore. She got up and made her way to the car, where Julie was in fact still asleep. Natasha gently opened the door, trying not to shock her kid awake. 

"Wake up sweetie, we're here" Natasha whispered softly as she started to unclip the seatbelts from Julie's body. Julie who was still asleep only stirred and settled again, trying to make herself comfortable. 

Natasha just chuckled lovingly, too enamored by her cuteness. She grabbed Julie under her armpits and tenderly lifted her out of her carseat, up on her hip. Julie only started whining but Natasha quickly shushed her and pushed her head into her neck softly.

"You're okay babe, sshh" Natasha stated as she softly started to bounce Julie.

"I'm still tired Tasha" Julie said, whining softly as she pressed her head more into Natasha's neck as she started walking, trying to shield her eyes from the harsh light. 

"You can sleep tonight honey, If you sleep too long now, you wouldn't sleep trough the night anymore" Natasha said with an amused smile on her face. 

"How about some cuddle time with me? Then you can wake up a bit more?"
