"So how do we plan to make it into the fire nation unscathed?" You spoke up after a few hours of flying. All Aang said was that the temple was in the fire nation but not really elaborated on how you all were supposed to get there.

"Well, we have Appa. I was thinking we can fly over." Aang said.

"Undetected? We are the only thing flying in the sky. I'm pretty sure they will spot us." You say as you look down at the distant sky. "I hope he's good at dodging," you added.

"He's a great flyer. Don't worry, we'll be fine." He reassured.

"Aang's right. If we find trouble, we can make it through." Katara put a reassuring hand on your shoulder.

"Just be prepared. I've seen the catapults." You commented.

----

"Can't you go any faster? The Avatar is getting away!" Zuko yelled at the captain.

"The ship is going as fast as it can, your Highness. I assure you we will catch up." The captain replied. Zuko yelled and stormed out of the control room.

The prince felt antsy. He was not only racing to catch the avatar but competing with anyone else that wants that glory. He grew frustrated and angry the more he thought of it. The more he thought of you, though it was more in the back of his mind. After all he did, he allowed you to stay comfortably, be part of the crew, and then you just leave.

He scowled at the sea out the window that reflected his scowl back at him. He knew you aren't Fire nation, that you had no loyalty to him to begin with so it made the lingering feeling of betrayal so angering.

----

Sunrise soon arrived, and you hardly slept. As much as you knew you had to if you were to make it in and out the Fire nation alive but that day in the spirit world stuck with you. You pushed the thoughts down as much as you could but it lingered. The thought of your friends leaving you behind even though you know they wouldn't . You didn't talk about it, it was a you problem anyway, only thoughts, not reality.

You were able to break out of your thoughts when you sat up at saw the beautiful scenery, though it was cut short when you turn your head and see a familiar ship in the distance.

"He's here already?!" you ask in astonishment. Then you saw something heading your way.

"Fireball!" You shout and stood as the flaming projectile hurdled towards you.

"On it!" Aang yelled as he launched himself at the fireball just in time to redirect the boulder. The stink wafted in the air and you all held your noses.

"I do not miss cleaning up after those." You commented as you ran from the incoming fireballs. You look ahead of you and you drop your hand in shock. "Uh oh..."

"Blockade" Aang said as you all see the tons of fire navy ships lining the border of the fire nation. "If we go north we can avoid it." he says.

"There's no time Aang" Katara says.

"She's right, if you need to be there before the solstice the only way is through, we can do this." You say as you put your hand on the airbender's shoulder.

"Let's run this blockade!" Sokka says in a bold tone. "Yip Yip!" Then soon enough, Appa speeds up as the group rushes the Fire nation blockade.

You hold on to the saddle as you adjust to the new speed of flight, the wind stinging your eyes a little. As your eyes adjusted you saw the hundreds of fireballs flying towards the group. You were almost thrown off at the sudden movements of Appa's dodging, you stayed on board but Sokka went flying when two rocks collided.
