Aeris exits the classroom, turns to the left, and walks away. He isn't one to go to the bathroom during class, but it felt like a random need today. Entering the bathroom, a strange aroma hit him.

Aeris paused, hesitant to enter due to the smell, he was too familiar with it due to his mother's death. Gagging, he enters the bathroom, he knows he shouldn't, but curiosity kills the cat.

He looks into the first stall. Nothing. The second stall? The smell is getting stronger. The third stall?

The body was lying on the floor, a slice on their neck and eyes gauged out. The amount of blood spewing from the wound was sickening to him. They must have recently killed the student. Shaking, Aeris grabs their phone and dials 110 but not calling. He'll call later, his gut is telling him to look into another bathroom.

Aeris exits the bathroom, hand over his mouth, he jogs to the nearest bathroom, and goes into the boys bathroom. He stops.

Blood is smeared on the walls. The smell is overpowering his senses as he pinches his nose, but that doesn't stop his mouth from tasting like blood.

Entering the first stall, the body of a girl, lying on her side, body facing the toilet. Her face was facing the stall door, her eyes were gauged out like the first body Aeris saw. The body in the next stall was the same, but there were words written in blood on the wall in English.

"Quiet."

Aeris runs out of the bathroom and goes to the next, calling the number.

"You've called 110, What is your emergency?" the responder says.

"I- Yes, umh, there's a lot of dead bodies in my school" Aeris gags, pausing from running as he vomits. The smell, the taste, the sights, it was too much for him.

"Hello? Are you still there? Are you alright?" Aeris hears the responder ask from his phone.

He coughs, breathing heavily as he cleans his mouth with his sleeve, eyes bubbling up with tears. Sniffing, he brings the phone back up to his ear. "yes, I'm fine, I think, I just, it was really bad." He continues running towards the last bathroom in the long hall.

"Can you tell me where you are?" The responder asks.

"I'm in-," Aeris instantly stops when he arrives in front of the bathroom. There was a trail of blood going into the girls bathroom.

Aeris inhales before placing the call on speaker phone as he opens his camera app and slowly walks into the girls bathroom. It felt wrong to him. He felt like he was invading many girls privacy but he just needs to know.

He breathes in, holds that breath, and walks in. He doesn't dare speak at all, his thumb is ready to snap a picture to be able to show to the authorities when they arrive. Though he was prepared to see something like the other bodies, being either distorted and having their eyes gouged out, he was not prepared for this murder.

As soon as he entered, the body was staring at him. He breathes out and gasps. Tears threaten to escape. He starts snapping pictures, and he screams.

He steps back once, twice, three times, and hits the wall with his back.

A teacher. She was hanging by her shirt, her head was twisted upside down, the cuts in her cheeks made her have a fake smile, her stomach is open and her guts were no longer in her body, but instead there's a bomb.

The bomb says, "00:03:45."

That's not enough time to evacuate everyone. But this is the farthest bathroom in the school, there's only one class nearby, and the closest bathroom to it is the second bathroom he went to, so was the killer intending on only blowing up the person who finds the bodies or what?

Maybe the other bodies also had bombs and he didn't notice.

Aeris runs and runs, and runs. He goes past the second bathroom he went to, and then the first. He goes past his classroom and past the vending machine. He arrives at the main office.

He had forgotten the responder on the phone, everything was muffled, everything but his voice.

Aeris's appearance in the front office took the ladies at the front off guard, the image of the sully boy that always helps them carry things from one classroom to another in the early mornings now crying, sniffing, and actively calling for their attention is something they would have never in a million years have thought to see.

He shows his phone, showing the ladies the image of the gruesome death of the teacher. His hand was shaking, the image was so sickening that the woman had to take the phone from him and respond to the emergency responder who was asking questions about what he had found and more. Aeris's knees give out, the amount of sickening scenes he had endured during his day has made him sick.

In the distance, he can hear a long beep from the announcements, before what is heard is a loud...

'BOOM'
