A few days later my friend Cody comes to check on me. "Hey Sin..You alright...?" I get up and open the door letting him in. After laying down on my beanbag chair Cody lays next to me holding me close. Me and him are close enough to where this is normal, for some reason I always found comfort in him. "Say Sin..why don't we go get some lunch or something..?" I hadn't eaten in a few days so it was probably worth it. "Yea..." Cody helps me up before taking me to a local restaurant. "A little birdie told me..." he pauses taking a bite from a fry. "A little birdie told me that you had a lot of free time" "So I wanted to invite you over to my place" There was no denying the obvious lack of plans for that summer, just i wasn't sure about spending time with Cody at his house. Especially since I knew his parents were extremely homophobic. I decided to roll with it though. After we ate Cody walked me home, Cody held my hand too. We weren't officially dating but we always alluded to it. When we made it back Cody kissed me before he left, then finally image was clear. Waking up the next day feeling thousands of butterflies in my stomach. I told my mother where I was going before packing up a few things and leaving.
