Cody suggested we take some pictures out by the bay, the first picture was pretty blurry so we took another. A few more pictures later I suggested we do pictures by ourselves, the first one of him came out perfect. Then I struck a pose and...that's when I saw Cody's expression change. I asked him what was wrong. All he did was point at the camera. Walking over to the camera i about fainted when I saw it, a giant alien ship casually falling from the sky behind me. we looked back at the water seeing nothing. Cody decided to take another picture, capturing it in the frame entirely. Our eyes couldn't see it, that was until a loud crash came from the bay. It wasn't long until the ship was unveiled to us. We didn't want to find out what just happened so we ran back to the house. Sprinting through the door Cody hid in my room as I frantically explained to my mom what we just saw. The Tv turned on while I was explaining and cut me off. "Breaking News! A large alien ship has fallen into the Chesapeake Bay, the FBI have closed off the bay for the safety of the public. Authorities also warn locals to stay away from the water along with tap water as it may be infected with chemicals. That is all for now." The Tv cuts off almost as fast as it turned on. The reality of the situation didn't take long to settle into people's minds. Everything seemed to slow down after that, it felt like the end of the world. People were already looting and rioting in the city, nobody was safe. A man started to bang on our door within minutes of the PSA. Fearing our safety my mom took me and Cody downstairs and gave us a knife. She told us to look after each other while she protected us from upstairs. His two cats were also down there.
