Irisha
I looked at myself one last time in the mirror and closed my eyes taking in a deep breath. I hope I get out of this alive kanha ji.
A knock on the door broke the chain of my thought as I hummed softly and said, "Coming, just give me a minute."
"Take your time." The voice on the other side of the door surprised me as I looked once more in the mirror, hurriedly taking off the pendant and putting it in my bag before goign towards the door and opening it.
He turned towards me at the sound of the door and our eyes clashed and like a moth I found myself attracted to his fire.
His eyes moved over me and so did mine and I just couldn't look away. This was the second time I was seeing him in traditionals and to say that he looked handsome will be a understatement of extremely proportion.
Vouge face?
He sure deserves to be there.
Our eyes met again amd I realised he must have caught me staring. My cheeks turned crimson as I looked away.
He cleared his throat with a similar dazed look and said in a soft voice, "Let's go,"
I took in a deep breath as he offered me his hand and it felt all too overwhelming again.
"Why are we doing this?" I asked in an attempt to make a small conversation as he looked at me a little surprised amd for a moment I thought he wouldn't answer me so it surprised me when he did.
"Because everyone wants us to." He gave me an obvious look as I looked at him dumbly.
"Do we have to?"
"Do you not want to?" He asked raising an eyebrow at me.
"No, that's not what I mean." I zipped up my mouth so as to not sound so stupid and looked at the front. As Shaurya bhaiya put it Vansh Sharma, I mean the photographer liked to work alone so we didn't really have a lot of staff here. Just a few who were setting up everything and obviously the makeup artists but I think we were already done with the makeup.
I looked at Veer, feeling a like a teenager who was slowly developing short of a crush on a celebrity she wasn't tired ot stalking even if it was a repeated process.
When did the Irisha who didn't want to marry just yet turn to the girl who was the glad to have found her first love back and was giving herself away for a marriage where no love was promised.
I almost stumbled back as he suddenly looked at me but beofre I could fall back he effortlessly pulled me towards him saving me.
I looked in his eyes for a moment too long before trying to take his attention away from me, "So how did he agree to this like uh so soon?"
He didn't look away as he replied, "Well, Shaurya bhaiya is a very good friends with him and when he got to know that he was in Goa as well as us so he just talked to him about this."
"Yeah,"
"Are you nervous?" He suddenly asked.
"What?" I looked away from him as we reached the others.
I gulped the nervousness and pretended not to be nervous, "No, why? Why would I be nervous!" I cringed at the almost stutter of my words as he raised an eyebrow at me.
"Yeah,"
His expression didn't seem like he believed me as I glared at him crossing my arms and thought of a sarcastic reply but a phone call interrupted us.
He excused himself and talked on the phone while I indulged myself in the conversation with Sanaya, Vansh bhaiya's assistant. She is so sweet.
Veer came to us after a few minutes as he passed her a polite look and the told me, "Sia bhabhi just called me," He said, while fixing his watch.
