The sky was a bit grey. It looked like it was going to rain this evening. The wind was blowing cold, and not many people were walking onto the beach.

Hyunjin just got up from the bed, his hair was messy, and he was wearing a hoodie and a random pair of grey sweatpants. He was looking outside the window of his room.

He knew he was alone in the house as his aunt was most of the time preoccupied with the company and her clients. He sighed at the beautiful view from outside. The unsatisfying feelings made him feel uncomfortable.

He wanted to go with Mizuki to the beach and watch the waves hit the shore together, but it didn't happen. Maybe later.

He took the sketch bood from his drawer and a pen from the table and went out of the room, heading to the living room. The TV was left on, and the news was playing, but he didn't give it much attention.

His attention was on the paper in front of him as he started drawing. He was messily dragging the pen tracing lines that slowly formed the shape of a face. It was Mizuki. He drew her for the past 2 months a few times, but every time, it seemed to become more difficult to draw her happy face.

Hyunjin started longing for her touch. He adored how her delicate hands brushed over his skin or how she played with his hair. He felt like he was going crazy.

The boy dropped the sketch book onto the sofa he sat on and leaned back while closing his eyes. His mind finally cleared.

The TV started playing the breaking news.
"And to everyone's attention, the world decides that after so many crimes committed by all of the monos, they are now sencented to participate at their punishment. Now, all the states are on panick. In some of them, the rules have already been applied."

Hyunjin's attention was on the TV. "The new rules are that none of the people diagnosticated with achromatopsia have the right to live the country, and are gonna become imprisoned in any close police station or prison. Its said that if they are going to oppose, they will be killed."

Hyunjin couldn't believe his ears. Why out of nowhere? Why were they doing this?? His mind started running in the darkest places. What if something happened to Mizuki? What if he couldn't do anything and she was going to be killed.

"In Korea, this rule was applied to the South regions of the country. Busan, Seul, and Gwangju will take over the law in about 8 hours from now. Others are not really known yet, but the president says that the whole Korea will be empty of monos in about 3 months. Families will be parted from each other, the youngers will become parentless, and the population will surely go down. It's said that -"

Hyunjin closed the TV. Panic kicked in as he ran to his room and took his phone. He called Mizuki multiple times, but no results.

The boy knew what he had to do in a moment like this. He ran to his room and took a backpack from his closet and put some clothes on there.

As he packed some other things like his phone charger, some water bottles, some snacks and other few things that he would probably need, he called mizuki a few times again in hope that she would answer.

The calls were useless as she didn't answer. Hyunjin took his jacket over the hoodie and put on some long pants, and exited the house.

As he was walking quickly to the station, he made one more call. And finally, someone answered. "Please find Mizuki. Get her ready cause I'm coming to get her."

On the other side of Korea, Chaeryeong answered the phone. "Hello.... what??" Her face turned into a panicked one as she sat down on her bed she asked another question. "Wow, wow, wow, stop there. Please explain what is happening." 

"I'll tell you as you go to find Mizuki."   Chae sighed and took her purse and left her house. "All right, spill up. I'm going to Mizuki right now."  

A sigh came from the other side of the phone, and he started explaining. "Mizuki isn't answering the phone, and I just found out a stupid law is going to appear in Seul in about 8 hours, maybe 7 and a half, I don't know. I need to get to Seul in less than 6 hours so I can take her out of there."  

  "What stupid law??"   "They are gonna kill all the monos, all the people diagnosticated with achromatopsia and guess what?"  "Mizuki is one of them..."

"Yes, that's right. I'll run as fast as I can, now I need to get to the airport so make sure Mizuki is prepared." "Hyunjin, I'm sorry but how the fuck are you gonna outrun a law!?!"   "I don't know! I don't know what to do! All I know is that right now I need to see Mizuki fine."  

The tension was building up and Chae started running too. She knew Mizuki was getting out of the hospital because of her injured leg.

"I'll call again when I'm landing. Make sure that you wait at the station."    "Fine. " the phone call got cut off and Chae was running to the Hospital Mizuki was at. She went close to the road and called a taxi that was just on the edge.

"Heey, sorry! I really need to go to Hospital xxx, and I need to get there quickly, pleaase?" The guy driving the vehicle was for sure shocked by her beauty and lether in with no hesitation.
