Hyunjin was woken up by the stewardess on the plain.
"Sir, the plain has arrived in Seoul. It's the final destination." She said. The boy was still out of it as he looked around and shifted in his seat a bit. Nobody was in the plain anymore.
Hyunjin thanked the woman and took his small backpack, and ran out of the plain. He couldn't believe he had slept for so long. The stress he went through in the last few hours must have exhausted him enough.
He went down the stairs and didn't even look at the still crowded airport. He flew through the people like he was a sheet of paper in the wind. He went through the security guards like they couldn't even arrest him.
He ran out of the airport, pushing people aside and throwing them out of his way. This wasn't like him. He ran down the streets to the area where he was supposed to meet Mizuki.
"Please. Don't tell me I'm late..." he said to himself as he continued to run. Hyunjin finally stopped to catch his breath. He was exhausted even though he had just woke up.
The boy didn't understand any of the new situations he was in. He looked up. There she was. Mizuki, but... she was tied down on the ground with police officers around her as their guns were pointed at her head.
"No!" "You are late, Hyunjin! Why did you do this to me..." Mizuki said to him as she was crying. Hyunjin felt his heart broke, he didn't want this. As he reached forward, the officers shot their guns and Mizuki fell on the cold concrete street's floor, which began to make her warm body cold as well.
Hyunjin went to her and his voice was shaky. "No, no no no! Please... please tell me this is just a nightmare. Please stop this inferno!"And witht that, Hyunjin jumped in his seat. What? He was back in the plain. "The plain is about to land. Please remain patient in your assigned seats." The person on the other side of the speakers said.
It was a dream. It is a very bad and horrifying dream. His leg started to bounce up and down on the plains floor. He sighed as he pushed his head onto the seat and slowly turned his head to the window.
He was still in the plain. Everything was still fine. As he sighed again and rolled his eyes, he closed them and tried his best to stop his heart from beating so fast.
The anxiety level was lowering bit by, but he was starting to calm down. The plain was about to reach its destination. Seoul, where Mizuki was.
After not so long amount of time, the moment of truth was coming. The plain finally got down to the ground, and he was ready. After plain's door opened, Hyunjin was already at the front of the line, ready to get running to his girlfriend. And better said than done. He wasn't the only one who was aching to get out of the plain and run to see his loved ones as people started pushing around, trying their best to outrun others in the line and get out as quick as they can.
Hyunjin, taken aback, did let a few people get in front of him so he wouldn't get in other problems before even setting foot in Seoul after a few good months. Finally, he pushed forward and was out of the plain.
The air had a sudden shift in its atmosphere. It was way more dense. Hyunjin sighed as he was finally out of the way. He started walking in a quicker pace and took his phone out of his pocket, trying to unlock it.
He didn't charge it in the last 10 hours, and now his battery was dead. "Aaah... fuck." He said and felt anger take a good amount of his rationality, but he knew he had to remain calm and organized for this plan to work.
Everything was fine. He already talked with Chaeryeong and told her everything... well, not everything but a good amount of the things she needed to know.
He started to quicken his pace again as he looked around impatiently. After he was out of the airport, he finally took a look at the main streets in his old hometown, Seoul.
The police had owned the visible population of the city. In every street and every corner of the buildings, there was a car with 3 officers each. It was a disaster. The lost boy frowned at the unfamiliar sight in front of his eyes.
What is all this? Why did this happen? There was no one who could answer his questions. Plus, he didn't have time to answer them himself. He looked around for a car that could hopefully take him to the place he promised to meet with Mizuki. But no cars ran on the streets anymore.
Hyunjin felt his world crumble bit by bit. The earth was shaking and tilting around him. He couched down and balanced himself on a light pole and decided to take a deep breath in as he couldn't do anything unless he had his mind clear.
The boy's thoughts were captivated by one person and one only, Mizuki. Oh, his sweet Mizuki. Her pale skin that seemed to never tan just one bit, her black like the sky at night sky when no stars could be seen, dancing in the air on a windy day and falling over her shoulder when she is concentrated in byology class, her soft and delicate features that not even art could compare to her, and her pinish soft and rather small lips, oh her lips. He would kill just to have another taste of them.
Hyunjin was in the same town as her this time, yet he felt like she was growing further away from him with every second passing by and not getting his eyes on her. He took a long breath in, keeping in inside his lungs, feeling the aching sensation in his every part of his body, and finally letting it out, making him see things clearer now.
Mizuki, he needed to reach her and get the girl out of town in... what's the time? Hyunjin shifted his posture to get a view of a closed cafeteria.
Luckily on the wall satted a clock. It was 2 pm, and he needed to move fast. With his mind more clear now and the objective set in his mind, Hyunjin put his phone back in his hoodie's pocket and started to move.
He just had to find her. It couldn't be that hard.
Right?
