Six years ago

Only one person in the sea of strangers caught his attention. A young, attractive alpha male, or rather, his one and only best friend. Her demeanor, mannerisms, personality-everything about her is as sweet as her name. The sight of the two most significant people in his life smiling at one another made his heart expand with warmth. Despite the cacophony of their surroundings, their chattering eyes were filled with happiness.

All he wanted was for them to be together and always smile at each other. It looks heartwarming. But every day, he died someplace in the corner of his heart. He died after he saw his best friend falling hard for his sister.

Even if it stings, he would rather suffer everyday little by little than act selfish and hurt two of his most cherished people.

The unrequited love he has for his best friend really is bothering him. He knows that Heeseung knows what he feels for him but as they said ignorance is bliss, so they both ignored.

Gladly Heeseung was good at ignoring and he was good at pretending, He kept saying to himself, "It's the minimum for two amazing people who deserve nothing but the best in this world."

He felt excluded at some point in their developing connection, but he would rather die than complain about it.

" What are you doing standing there, Sunoo-ya? Come here. "

He was pulled out of his thoughts when Heeseung called him, he giggled and walked over to them, joining them and Jay and Jungwon who seemed to be equally invested in their conversation.

" what are you all talking about? "

He asked curiously with a pout and his sister cooed at him.

" Uncle Lee is about to give a speech so I was asking what if he will call Heeseung to join him on the stage, he hadn't even prepared any speech "

Danyi teased the older alpha who playfully rolled his eyes and shrugged.

He laughed at the idea and couldn't help but imagine the scene in his head.

Jungwon suddenly said, making everyone laugh and Jay playfully ruffled his hair.
