The rain pounded relentlessly against the windowpane, creating a rhythmic cacophony that filled the small bedroom. Thick droplets raced each other down the glass, blurring the outside world into a watery haze.

Sunoo stood by the window, clutching his medical report tightly in his hand. He could feel the cold seeping through the glass, a stark contrast to the warmth of the room.

Sunoo's eyes were fixed on the tempest outside, but his mind was elsewhere. He glanced over his shoulder at Heeseung, who was perched on the edge of the bed, deep in conversation over the phone.

Heeseung's voice, calm and steady, was a comforting counterpoint to the chaos outside. Sunoo watched as his husband's fingers tapped absently on the bedspread, a habit he had when he was thinking.

Sunoo took a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves. The monthly check-ups always made him anxious. He turned back to the window, watching the rain dance on the pavement below, waiting for his alpha to finish his call.

Deep in his thoughts he failed to notice the latter approaching him and he didn't even register him calling his name until he felt strong arms circling around his still flat belly.

He lifted his gaze without lifting his face and their eyes met through their reflection on the window glass.

The alpha brushed the back of his fingers against his cheeks in a feather light touch before he asked softly.

" are you nervous? "

Any other time he would have lied to save his face but he couldn't, not in front of his husband who had him bare to his soul.

He took in a deep breath and nodded, fingers clenching around the file containing his medical report.

" terrified "

He felt one of the arms around his belly move to grab his wrist, the warmth of his husband's touch sipping through the thick fabric of his clothes and he visibly melted into his alpha's embrace, leaning into his touch completely.

Heeseung brought his hand up to his lips before planting a soft but firm kiss on his palm, making him feel all tinglish and fuzzy, weirdly melting away his anxiousness and worries.

" we will be fine, baby "

His eyes grew wide at the endearment and the soft tone he used to assure him, he gulped, hoping his cheeks and the tip of his ears hadn't turned all red from the blushing.

He leaned his head back on the broad shoulder of his husband and looked up at him, the alpha's oh so alluring eyes staring down at him and he couldn't help but stare.

" kiss me please "

It's such a weird request, weird in the sense of him asking for a kiss all of a sudden during a serious talk, weird that he didn't even hesitate and even weird when the older smirked slightly before leaning down and capturing his cherry pillowy lips between his own.

Their lips started moving slowly, softly against eachother without any rush or harsh movement until the alpha squeezed the smaller's waist, electing a gasp from him and taking this opportunity he pushed his tongue between the soft parted lips that welcomed him with a sweet moan.
