"You..." Jaune blurted as he looked at the person that revealed themselves to him. "It's you Weiss, guess you're my partner now" He blurted dryly as stared at heiress's pale blue eyes. The girl looked back at the blonde with an unreadable face. "It seems so." She remarked as the two stated at one another with different thoughts. Jaune thinks that this is good if his speculation about her abilities are what he thinks it is. Weiss meanwhile just thinks of him as a decent one. Not stepping his boundaries too much and his actions from what she witnesses were a good note to support it. 'Awkward' Jaune thought as his eyes were fixed on Schnee

This staring contest of theirs continued for some time before Jaune finally stood up recovered, breaking eye contact with the Schnee girl. The blonde wiped off the dirt off his clothes, striking a conversation with the heiress, "We probably should get moving to where the abandoned temple now. Since y'know, it contains several relics meaning few"

The heiress caught the meaning and agreed with his words, "True then do you know where it is?" she asked anticipating that he does

Jaune let out a nervous smile, "Sorry, I don't. I was too occupied with skydiving for the first time" he states getting a nod of understanding from the Schnee heiress. "Well, let's get going in that direction" Weiss pointed behind him and added, "We'll look around to see if we can find some clues of where the temple is and head from there"

"Sounds like a plan, partner" the young Arc said with a smile as he followed Weiss, who didn't see his expression as she was on the move. As they looked for any signs of the relic's location, other students have already met their partners for the year. All of this was being observed by the coffee drinking Headmaster Ozpin and Professor Goodwitch. "It seems Miss Rose and Miss Belladona are the last ones to be paired up as partners" Goodwitch states as the Headmaster simply hummed as he enjoyed the scent of coffee lingering.

"This year of students are interesting" the silver haired man said. Glynda glare at him as she knew what he's hinting. The blonde huntress sighed as she was mad at his actions and spoke her mind "Did you really have to accept Ms. Rose into Beacon? She's only 15 years old and still a young child, Ozpin. "

The headmaster stopped drinking from his mug and smiled, "And you've witnessed what she displayed yesterday. Talent and skill at that age. So I'm not going to wait another 2 year's for her to waste it." He took a drink from his mug and let out a satisfied sigh. "Besides, isn't that why Beacon exists. To help guide and nurture children like Ms. Rose." He added getting a hesitant nod of agreement from the blonde professor.

Ruby Rose is indeed an exceptionally skilled user of her weapon and her combat experience is definitely something not to mess with. But what the Blonde huntress is worried about is her mentality. She's yet to face the deep cruelty of this world and it worries her so. Despite this Glynda can only watch and see how well the little redhead fair along with a suspicious blonde student.

----Jaune Arc----

*Shiver* I don't know why but I feel like I'm getting attention from someone I don't want to get in trouble with? "Jaune, are you ok?." I heard Weiss calling out for me with a stern tone. It's already been about 20 minutes or so since we're been marching on to find the relics. Sadly, we didn't have any luck yet and have encountered a few Grimm along the path. One being an Ursa, while others were a small pack of Beowolfs. It was annoying. Obviously the task was to bring a relic back to the Academy. So fighting and killing isn't the main point. It's just a secondary objective when faced with obstacles such as being surrounded by a herd of Beowolves like we've just finished defeating. It made me deplete a lot of my aura reserves but I can recover myself by amplifying my AGU (Aura Generating Units) to get back my aura. The fight was worth it because I got to use Spear Strike as I intended to do.
