Chapter 1:

-Set 2 Months before Bella and Edward's Wedding-

A girl with short dirty blonde hair drove along the familiar paths of La Push.

Normally she would be at a concert, a model showing or dancing but instead she was driving to the familiar house of the Clearwater's where she had been to various times as a child.

This girl was none other than Alissa Rogers, an America sweetheart who was going to see her best friend Leah who insisted her friend visit and meet her pack.

Something Alissa found out about after Leah shifted during their FaceTime call.

Alissa took it in stride, learning everything about wolf's, vampires, imprints, and mates.

As she drove onto the driveway of the Clearwaters house the door to said house was slammed open as Leah Clearwater ran to her best friend.

"Lissa!" Leah shouted in happiness that her best friend was finally here, her tone having grief shadowing it.

"Hey Lele. I heard about your father. I'm so sorry." Alissa said as she hugged her friend tightly, feeling small droplets on her shoulder.

"Thank you for coming..." Leah spoke as Alissa smiled at her oldest friend.

"Of course Leah. I'm always going to be here for you." Alissa said as Leah sniffled and pulled away from her friend's embrace.

"Come on. The others are here and I want you to meet them. They were close with my father." Leah spoke as Alissa nodded, following her friend into the house and the living room where a familiar group of males in shorts were sitting.

As Alissa and Leah walked into the room the males attention shifted to them, one being particularly bright.

"Guys this is Alissa. I think some of you remember her from when she lived here." Leah said as Paul stood smiling widely.

"How could we forget the girl who made it out of La Push and became Americas sweetheart." Paul said as he hugged Alissa who smiled and hugged him back.

"Hey Paul!" Alissa said as she pulled away.

"Alissa you remember everyone. This is Rachel, Paul's girlfriend. Quil and his...friend Claire. My brother Seth, Collin and Brady, Embry and finally my boyfriend Sam." Leah said as Alissa waved at each one, smiling brightly at Embry, before turning to Leah and Sam.

"It's nice to meet you Sam. Leah has told me so much about you." Alissa said as Sam smiled.

"All good I hope!" Sam said as Alissa laughed and watched as Sam placed a soft kiss to Leah's head.

Alissa went to speak but before she could the door opened to reveal Jacob Black.

"Lissa you remember Jacob." Leah said as Alissa nodded, turning to Jacob.

As their eyes met gasps were heard as Alissa smiled, knowing Jacob imprinted on her and feeling a sense of content fill her before dread followed as Jacob glared into her eyes.
