Chapter 2:

At the glare Jacob was giving her Alissa could only look down as he seemed to shake, which brought him to speak.

"No! I'll never accept you!" Jacob yelled as Alissa fell to the ground as her heart seemed to clench painfully in her chest.

Her ears barely registered Paul and Leah shouting as warm comforting arms seemed to hold her and bring a tiny hint of peace to her aching heart before darkness enveloped her senses and she fell limp in her the arms of comfort.

Embry Call POV:

Embry looked down at the unconscious girl he was holding before gently picking her up and began walking upstairs leaving a screaming Paul, Leah, and Jacob behind.

Laying the unconscious girl in the guest bedroom Embry reminded her heels and gently pulled a blanket over her, sitting next her as he watched her pained face.

His own emotions filled with anger at his best friends actions.

He knew Jacob loved Bella leech lover Swan but he never thought he would willingly hurt him imprint, his literal soul mate.

Making sure she was warm and safe Embry then began downstairs fuming with anger, his pack brothers standing back as the watched him.

"Embry? You ok?" Quill asked as Embry pushed passed him towards Jacob, throwing Leah and Paul aside.

"Hey what the-" Leah started to say along with Paul but stopped seeing the anger in her pack mates eyes.

"Embry bro-" Jacob started to say but was cut off as Embry threw a punch, a crack sounding through the living room of the Clearwater house.

Before Jacob could hit back Embry dragged him outside as he shifted, Jacob and the others followed along, as he growled and snarled at his friend.

"What the fuck dude! What is wrong with you?!" Jacob hissed as Embry snarled and snapped his teeth at Jacob.

"ME?! You just rejected you soulmate who has been our friends for YEARS! And for what?! Bella Swan?!" Embry growled as everyone watched in silence.

"It's my choice! I don't want her! I want Bella!" Jacob hissed as Embry scoffed.

"Get it through your thick skull! Bella doesn't love you! She is marrying the leech! She chose him!" Embry yelled as Jacob growled and went to pounce on Embry but hissed as Embry tackled him to the ground, his claws digging into his fur.

"Your pathetic Jacob! You have the chance to be with your other half. You literal soulmate and you're rejecting it for ugly, pathetic, shallow, bitter bitch, and disgusting Bella Swan!" Embry growled before he heard a groan and realized Alissa was walking up.

Embry leaped off Jacob, shifting back, and pulling on shorts before rushing into the house to the room where Alissa was.

As Embry walked into the room he stopped seeing the tears streaming down Alissa's face.

"He doesn't want me because of Bella right? Just like when we were 14. I would always vie for his attention but he always wanted Bella even though she didn't even live there anymore." Alissa said with bitterness as Embry walked forward and held the girl as she sobbed.

"He doesn't deserve you anyway." Embry muttered as he kissed the crown of her head, disgust filling him at the thought of Jacob Black.

The man who stupidly rejected his imprint.
