I just brought Lyla back home, and yet, I still feel as if she is here.

I take a deep breath and exhale to calm myself.

Gosh...

This girl is occupying my thoughts more than I would like.

She is incredibly beautiful... and radiant.

Being with her is so natural. I feel as if we are often on the same page, despite our different points of view.

Does she like being with me?

I feel like it...

Unless, she's not letting anything show that would prove otherwise.

Ugggh!

So many useless questions are invading my thoughts.

When I'm Jay, everything is much easier!

Most of the time, I know that girls like "me"... Of course... when you are a star...

But when I'm just me...

I will say that I'm doing everything I can to be the most transparent as possible.

Nevertheless... I'm not transparent for her... I don't know what she sees in me, but one thing is certain, she sees it!

I'm sure that she didn't see that I was Jay. She just sees... "Henri" and it looks like she enjoys the presence of this geek, with whom she exchanges books.

Sitting on my bed, I look at the book that she lent me today.

Intrigued, I start reading, and the style of the author literally pulls me in. The story it set up quickly.

Lyla left quite a few notes... It's funny...

She gave me the definitions of obvious words like "sword", "house"... It's quite clever of her.

I laugh alone in my room...

My dad knocked on my door.

Henri: "Yes?"

Antoine: "Everything alright, son?"

Henri: "Yeah, yeah!"

Antoine: "Is it that books that's making you laugh like that?"

Henri: "Yeah! Well... it's Lyla..."

Antoine: "Oh..."

My dad's smile changes, but I ignore it.

Henri: "She left little messages in the book that she just lent me. Simple retorts to notes in a book I lent her."

Antoine: "You like her, don't you?"

Henri: "Dad..."

He didn't listen to anything I said.
