Antonio
I rubbed my forehead in frustration. When I tell someone to do something, I hate being questioned about it. Why can't someone just do one simple fucking thing without questioning me? Growing up, my Dad taught me to never let anyone question me. If it was up to me, they wouldn't be alive to question me, but I was feeling quite generous today. My mind heavily focused on Aurora. I can't stop thinking about her. Every time I hear a woman's voice, I think of her. She's driving me crazy and she doesn't even know it.
"I don't care how you fucking do it. Just get it done!" I yelled into the phone and slammed it on my desk. I muttered to myself as the door opened. It was Daniel. "What do you want?" I seethed in annoyance. He always knows how to rile me up even more. I love my brother dearly but he's a major pain in the ass. And he wonders why he doesn't have a job yet in the Organization.
"Your brother can't come and say hey?" He asked. "Hi, big brother!" He said in a tone that could just make me want to slap him. For a 19 year old, he's so immature. He's always been like this since we were kids. Purposely provoking me, always taunting me. I thought I'd get used to it by now but nope, still haven't.
"I'm gonna ask you again." I said in a more warning tone. "What do you want?" I asked again. I didn't have time for any of his games today. I was way too stressed out and frustrated at my team. I sent four guys to do a simple shipment for me and to my luck, we were scammed. Bitches got away with close to a million dollars. "You know what, in the future, my office is OFF LIMITS." I fussed at him.
He chuckled and sat on the couch I have in my office. "Umm, that's never going to happen." He replied cockily. "And if it did, I wouldn't listen to you. Anyway, I came to see how you and Aurora are doing." He said. I rolled my eyes. He's so nosy sometimes. What's going on between me and my wife is none of his business. Hell, he doesn't even know Aurora to be asking about her.
Aurora and I haven't talked much since her birthday dinner two weeks ago. She must've gotten my number from her mother because she had sent me a text the next morning thanking me for the necklace. I smile slightly just remembering that night. I feel like we hit it off great, which will make the wedding process easier. I'm still a little weird about marrying her. I've been thinking of asking her about it further when she moves in. My mother has discussed taking her to see the venue.
"We're fine." I replied. "Why?" I asked, wondering, still, why he was so interested in my wife and I.
"Because she's moving in your house in two days." Fuck. I totally forgot that she was moving in. I don't know how I did, it must've slipped my mind. I had intended to make space in my drawers and closet for her but I could just do that later tonight or tomorrow. "You forgot, didn't you?" He asked provokingly and started laughing like a clown with no sense.
I groaned in frustration. "I swear if you annoy me one more time, I will beat your ass and kick you out of here." I threatened. I was starting to get sick of him. What am I saying? I get sick of him everyday. I'm actually thinking now about seriously making my office off limits to him and only him.
He chuckled. "Okay. Calm down, brother." He said. He knows that once I get to talking violent, he should stop. Half of the time, I'm not serious. But I could get serious very quickly. He's seen me get serious very quickly many times before. "You wanna know about me and Kylie?" He asked. I really wasn't interested. It's going to end up the same way it always is, I bet.
"I really don't." I replied. I sat back in my chair and looked at the time. It's only 2pm. I would like to go home, but I have a really important meeting with our allies. We're discussing on getting our money back and the punishments those bitches need to face for thinking they could fuck with us. Just the thought of the amount of torture I'm going to do once I find each and every one of them makes me smile in excitement.
