Aurora
I sent the Chef and maids home early. Antonio still wasn't back yet and I wanted to cook him dinner to show my appreciation. I know how to cook some dishes, but I'm not a five star chef like the one we already have. I decided to go with some pasta and red sauce with sautéed asparagus, since that's his favorite vegetable. I just hope that he likes it.
I was currently wiping off the counters as the pasta was finished cooking. I heard his car pulling up so I quickly made his plate first and set it down in the chair he normally sits down to eat in. I fixed him a glass of wine along with a tall glass of ice water, knowing that's what he prefers with his dinner. I set my plate down on the seat just right next to his and sat down, waiting for him to show.
The front door opened and he stepped in. He looked tired and out of it. I quickly stood up. His head turned towards me and the plates at the table. He smiled softly. "What's all this, love?" He asked. He walked towards me and wrapped his arms around my waist. He looked tired. His hair was a little messy and his eyes were droopy.
I smiled. "I just wanted to do something nice for you. To show that I appreciate you." I explained. "I'm sorry if I was nagging you earlier today." I apologized, suddenly feeling bad for what occurred this afternoon.
"Hey, you weren't nagging." He chuckled. He cupped my cheeks and kissed my forehead. "A lot of shit's going on right now, and it just has me stressed out. But hey, tomorrow, we can watch a movie. Just you and I. Yeah?" I nodded my head. It felt good to know that I didn't make him mad earlier or I wasn't nagging. He leaned down and kissed my lips softly. "Okay, what's all this? Where's everyone?" He asked, gesturing to the scenery.
I looked down and played with the buttons on his shirt. "I cooked dinner for you." I told him. "I told Chef and the rest to leave early so that you and I could have some time together."
He smiled. "You're so sweet." He kissed my lips and hugged me. I felt my cheeks blushing red.. "What did you cook?" He asked.
"Oh, something simple. Pasta with red sauce and sautéed asparagus. I hope you like it."
He held my chair for me and I sat down and he sat next to me. He took a bite of the pasta first and nodded his head. He then grabbed some of the asparagus. He wiped his mouth and took a sip of his ice water.
He placed his hand on mine and leaned forward, capturing my lips in his. "It tastes wonderful, baby." He whispered.
"A-Are you sure?" I asked.
"Yes. Taste some." He urged.
I did as he said and nervously picked up my fork, tasting some of the pasta. It indeed tasted delicious, I couldn't resist and shoved a forkful of pasta in my mouth. I see him chuckling. I'm being so rude. "I'm sorry. I didn't expect it to taste this good." I told him.
"Listen, I don't blame you." He kissed the back of my hand. "Thank you for dinner, love."
"You're welcome. Anything for you." I replied, rubbing my thumb against his huge knuckles.

Guido and I were in my art room. I had him in a pose while I painted a portrait of him. Kai was also here, watching. Kai and I have gotten close since my wedding day. Just like Guido, he's become more of an older brother to me. "Guido, stop freaking moving!" I fussed.
"I'm not moving." He protested, clearly moving his arms restlessly. I rolled my eyes and pulled my phone out, taking a picture so he wouldn't have to sit longer. I waved my hand, letting him know he was free to move. "Finally. I'm restless, little one." He said.
"That is true." Kai chuckled. "He's been restless since I've known him." I laughed along. Kai and Guido look at each other and I can sense something. I'm normally not the best when it comes to relationships or crushes, but the way that they're looking at each other, you can tell one or both have feelings for the other. "So, what else is there? Antonio wanted us to make sure you were entertained." Kai asked.
