Antonio
I stared at her throughout the 20 minute car ride. I know she's sad; I wish I could take away that sadness, but I can't blame her for how she's feeling. I moved into my estate at age 17. I was quick to live on my own and away from my parent's grip. But not everyone is like me, and I knew that her moving in would be difficult for her.
I could probably cook for her tonight. Just her and I, and not the cleaners and maids. Give her that feeling that this is her home. Kind of get her used to me. It's the least I could do. Anything to see that smile that I've grown to love since her birthday.
The gate to my estate opens and I grabbed Aurora's hand, shaking it gently. A soft moan comes from her lips as she opens her beautiful eyes slowly.
"We're here, Aurora." I told her. She nodded and sat up in her seat, wiping her eyes. She looks so cute. "My men will grab your bags. I'll give you a tour of the house, yeah?" She smiled softly and nodded.
I got out of the backseat of the car and rushed to her to side to open the door for her. She grabbed my hand and stepped out, looking all over. I ushered my two men over.
"Yes, Boss?" One asked.
"Grabs Aurora's bags from the trunk and place them upstairs in our room." I demanded.
"Yes, Boss." They hurried and grabbed her bag from the trunk. Meanwhile, I kept my focus on my soon-to-be wife. Her hand in mine, I walked her to the front door.
"So, the front yard has a garden." I told her. "I don't know if you're interested in gardening or have a green thumb, but if you wanted to grow something, I have tons of flower and fruit seeds so you could plant them." She nodded with that same sadly smile on her face.
I gave her a full tour of the house. I showed her the downstairs area, the rooms including ours, the backyard space which had more cool things, and the gaming/movie room. The only place I didn't show her was the room with all of my weapons. I don't want to scare her, so I kept that space out of the tour.
"So, you want to head back to the room and get settled?" I asked her. "My parents are coming for dinner at 6." I informed her.
She nodded. "Yeah, sure." She replied. She walked into the room and I watched her. I sigh, feeling bad that she seems so sad. I have an idea, hopefully, which could make her feel better.
I walked into my home office and grabbed my phone. I picked up the phone and dialed Daniel's number.
He picks up after two rings. "What's up?" He replied.
"Hey, do me a favor?" I asked.
"Anything, brother." He replied. "What's up?"
"Could you convince Kylie to come with you to dinner with our parents?" I asked him. I figure Kylie being here would help cheer up Aurora. She's been sad about the whole 'moving out' thing. Them two have a friendship that I admire and only had once. Him and I are still close friends to this day.
"Ah, yeah, I'll see. She's kind of mad at me, though." He told me. I rolled my eyes. My brother's always pissing someone off. He can be a player at times, which I don't know why. It irks me knowing that it's easy for him to just disrespect women. He's acting like I never taught him anything. I know he's young, but there should never be an excuse to disrespect any female. I guess I need to reteach him that.
"Ugh." I groaned. "What did you do now?" I asked him. Based on situations in the past, I could think of a billion things that he's done to piss off Kylie. I would guess, but I want him to man up and tell me himself.
