Aurora

I couldn't help but admire how beautiful I looked in this red dress. I ended up choosing it and I don't regret it at all. As Kylie would say, as she tends to make up her own vocabulary words, I look sexalicious. Me being the heavy English student, she knows it annoys me when she says words that are not even in the dictionary or the English vocabulary. But she does it anyway. Anything to rile me up.

I was placing on some makeup. I was going all out for this dinner and I couldn't deny it anymore. I wanted to make the best impression for Antonio's parents. They chose me to marry their son, and even though I still feel cold about that part, I still want them to view me in a positive light.

There was a knock on the door. Could it be Antonio? He told me he would be downstairs with the chefs. "Come in." While still blending in my foundation, the door opens. Expecting to see Antonio, I greeted who I thought was him. "Oh, hey." I greeted and turned around but it wasn't Antonio. It was a random man.

He was in an all black professional suit and looked young, maybe a little older than Antonio. His hair fell messy over his forehead and he had forest green eyes that were captivating. But who was he? Because he's not my husband.

"Ms. Aurora?" The man said, looking at me while standing at 'attention.' "My name is Guido, and I have been appointed as your personal bodyguard by Mr. Maricceli." He announced. What? Personal bodyguard? Antonio never mentioned anything about a bodyguard.

"Wait, why?" I asked him, now very curious. "Bodyguard for what?"

"To keep you safe at all times." Guido replied. "If you need anything while Mr. Maricceli isn't here, I'm the person you would call. I'm here at all times, so just call and I'll come." I nodded. This is definitely weird. A personal bodyguard? I'm not a celebrity, why would I need a bodyguard? Does Antonio have one?

"Oh, um, okay." I said, not really knowing what to say. "So is that all you came in here for?" I asked him, wanting to resume getting ready.

"Mr. Maricceli wanted me to let you know that his parents are on the way." He told me. I nodded.

He turned to walk out, but I had one last question. "Wait." I said and he halted. He turned back around, giving me his attention.

"Yes, Ms. Aurora?" He asked.

"If I wanted McDonald's late at night, would I just call you and you'd take me?" I asked. I see a small smile form on his face as it looked like he was fighting the urge to laugh. I was being serious though. Sometimes when I'm hungry after dinner, I would grab McDonald's.

He nodded. "I work all day and night. If there was a case such as that one, I would go out and grab you McDonald's." He replied. I nodded. He seems nice. I hope it stays that way. He closed the door behind him, leaving me by myself in my thoughts.

I finished getting myself ready, deciding to leave my long brown hair down, letting it flow down my back and hips. Kylie always says she prefers when my hair is down because it's extremely long and it makes me look more mature. That's all I strive to look like at this dinner: sophisticated and mature.

There was a knock on the bedroom door. "Come in." I called out. The door opens and my smiled grows so wide, it could almost rip off of my face. It was the one person beside my parents who I was thinking about since. Kylie. "Kylie!" I squealed. I risk busting my ass with these heels and ran to her, hugging her tightly. I've never gone no more than 8 hours without seeing Kylie. Two whole days without seeing her was something completely different and abnormal for us.

She chuckled. "I miss you too." She said, rubbing my back. She pulls away from our tight hug and looks around the room. "Damn. This is where you sleep?" She asked. I nodded my head. I still haven't gotten used to this huge ass room yet. "Girl, now I wish I was getting married." She whined.
