CH2: the case

Maudie's pov:

Noah told us everything he knew and told us he wanted us to go and investigate the museum tomorrow morning.

Time skip to the next day

We all went to the museum the next day and it was amazing that's what Ava said.

"Omg, Noah this Is the best thing I have ever seen in my entire life!" Ava gushed.

We all looked at her cause Ava says stuff like that everyday, but she was right it was amazing.

"Ok we'll split into 2's to investigate-" I said,

"I'll go with Kyle!" Ava said.

...

"I guess it's just you and me now..." Ezra said awkwardly.

"Y-Yeah..." I replied.

Why was I so awkward?

As me and Ezra walked the other way we found a baseball behind the painting someone must have threw it at the painting.

As I reached to pick it up I accidentally touched Ezra's hand I could feel myself heating up as I just froze there looking at Ezra.

What is wrong with me?

"Aren't you gonna take it?" Ezra asked removing his hand.

I blinked a few times before realizing what happened.

"Oh, s-sure." I stammered.

I picked up the baseball and put it in my pocket then we went to check on the other paintings.

After the investigation cuz I don't know what to write about it...

We were all sitting in the inBESTigators office it was 6:30pm when Ava had to go home and Kyle was bored so he also went home it was just me and Ezra now.

Why do I feel so nervous?

I was a bit tired tho.

Ezra's pov:

I looked over at Maudie she looked a bit tired ngl.

Hey guys I think I'll write the rest later because my grandpa is currently in the hospital so me and my family are coming to visit him a lot so I'll update as soon as I can.
