CH6: secrets we shouldn't tell

Ezra's pov:

We went up to Kyle's bedroom and he took me to his bed.

"Ezra, tell me everything." He said, his eyes wide with excitement.

"Ok, uh... it started when Maudie came back." I started.

"Came back from what?" Kyle asked.

"I don't know, she just said she was gonna get tape but then Ava followed her then Maudie never brought the tape and Ava didn't came back with her." I said.

"Oh, why?" Kyle asked.

"I don't know, anyways that's big what I'm here for." I said.

"Oh, yeah... so about falling in love with Maudie." Kyle teased.

"Yeah, it was so weird it just seemed like I was... daydreaming." I explained.

"Interesting," Kyle said.

"Kyle, please tell me I'm just stupid, and not actually falling for Maudie." I begged.

"You're stupid, and you're not actually falling for Maudie." Kyle said. "Better?"

"No." I whined.

"Well, maybe you're just tired, ok?" Kyle said

I sat up

"Y-yeah, you're right." I said, positively.

"Boom," Kyle said, fist bumping me.

That night me and Kyle kept talking and talking till we both fell asleep on his bed his mum called my mum to tell her that I slept over my mum was okay with it.

Maudie's pov:

A/N: this pov happened before Ezra left

As I was working I suddenly felt something touch my leg I looked down and I saw me and Ezra's legs touching under the table my heart started racing none of us moved then I needed a minute to calm down.

"I'm gonna go get take." I lied, as I left.

I think it was pretty obvious that I was in a hurry to leave I went to my bedroom and sat on the bed and took deep breaths I suddenly felt myself smiling then I heard someone coming.

It was Ava she closed the door behind her and sat next to me on the bed.

"Maudie?" She asked, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah?" I asked, still panting from running all the way to my bedroom.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing." I lied.

"I can tell you're lying." Ava said, playfully crossing her arms and smiling.

"Well... I just got a bit overwhelmed, I'm sorry." I explained.

"Why are you apologizing?" She asked.

"For worrying you." I answered.

"Then why did you get over whelmed?" She asked.

I whispered in her ear

She gasped dramatically but she was smiling still.

I couldn't help but giggle at her reaction as I continued explaining.

I after we returned to Ezra and Ava needed to use the bathroom.
