It's nothing? You're bleeding!

I noticed that gayoung was all soaked from the rain because she gave me her jacket

Her clothes were dripping water and it was probably getting the car seat wet as well. I couldn't help but worry about her being drenched like that and that she would get sick.

Chocol: ah sh!t, I'm all soaked, You're soaked as well... 

"Oh..." There was a moment of silence as I looked at her

"Well In that case, would you like to come over to my place? I'll give you some dry clothes, if it's all right with you." I said to her while praying in my mind that she should agree.

Chocol: "....are you...sure you'd be alright with me coming over? because I'm soaking wet right now...And I don't want to make a mess at your place..."

"I'm soaking wet too, so we'll both make a mess anyways"
at this point I was ready to say anything to make her come to my house

Chocol: "....Fair point..."

As she started to drive, I couldn't help but look at her.  the streets were wet and the air smelled of fresh rain water along with the smell of the trees.

We stepped out of the car and I gave her jacket back to her before we walked to my door.

I unlocked it and we went inside

Chocol: "wow, this is... such a nice place.. do you live here alone?"

"Yeah, I've been living alone for years already..."

As I looked around at her, I noticed that she was still looking around at the place...

I also realized that this was the first time I had another girl alone at my apartment, and on top of that, we had both just came back all soaked while it was raining..

"Oh umm...just don't mind the mess, there's a bathroom just right inside the door over there. Feel free to go change your clothes, take a shower or do whatever you like really. You can also use anything if you want, just make yourself at home, wait here and I'll go and get some dry clothes for you"

"Oh... okay, thank you." She replied with a bit of a smile on her face.

I headed inside my room and quickly found a pair of sweatpants and a T-shirt in my closet which I thought would fit gayoung.

I quickly got them out and headed back towards the living room, I gave her some clothes.

chocol: "Thank you,really....I'll go change real quick."

I was on my way to make some food when suddenly...I realized i couldn't find my phone anywhere.

"Ah shoot, gayoung, I think I might have forgotten my phone in your car.."

"Oh I'll go get it for you...It'll just take a second..." she spoke up.
"B-but you're gonna get sick-"

 i couldn't even stop her before she rushed to get it...

CHOCOL'S POV

My heart started beating fast as I went back outside, thinking about how close the two of us had been when we were still in the car. I wanted some fresh air so this was a good excuse to calm down.

The cold weather and the fact that I was soaked from the rain made my body shake and shiver, which made my breath start to fog up in front of me... But I decided to ignore it as I walked across the wet pavement to get her phone from my car...I reached my car and took out my phone from the back of the seat. I hadn't realized that I was so nervous until I could feel my stomach churning and the butterflies in my chest feeling a bit out of control...

Should I go back to my apartment...Or should I just stay with her...What would she think if I went home....Would it be too sudden if I did so...And what about that whole conversation about not looking for relationships....was a lie....

All sorts of things started racing through my head as I stood there...

If I stayed here with her, would I be able to control myself for long enough...Or would I just end up...Oh god, what am I thinking, ugh am I getting myself into... I really need to get myself together...

I took a moment to make sure the phone was with me and to make sure my thoughts were collected...I took a second to take deep breaths before going back to her apartment...

ELLIE'S POV

I was still waiting as I heard her coming back, the sound of her footsteps on the sidewalk approaching my apartment's front door grew more intense until she finally entered.

As she walked inside, I couldn't help but feel a rush of emotions as I saw her drenched... My heart almost stopped for a moment as I looked at her... she gave me my phone. Her hair was drenched as well and I could see the water dripping from her hair, soaking into her clothes even more now...

"Oh no, you're soaked... Here, i got some  clothes for you, you should go change before you get sick."

"Yeah, I might need to..." she replied with a chuckle.

as she was changing, I decided to make us some light food and I decided to make a salad.

"Is that a salad that you're making?" she asked with smirk on her face as she came out with dry clothes.

"oh...yes, i thought that you'd like it"

and while i was looking at her intensely...

"Ouch!"
 I suddenly cut my finger 

Chocol: "Oh...! Are you alright?!" she asked as I reached out and took a hold of my finger...

"Yes... yes I'm okay"

"You're sure? It looks like it hurt..." she said as she moved her fingers to feel around the part of my hand where i had injured myself.

"It's nothing, really" I replied, I was so surprised that she got so worried about me cutting my finger.

Chocol: "It's nothing? You're bleeding!"

"It's not a big deal really.." I said, my heart beating faster as her fingers started to touch the cut on my hand...

She was worried about me and I could see her starting to feel concerned for me...

"It hurts a bit but don't worry about me, I'll be fine" I said

I realized that we had come way too close to each other, my heartbeat felt like it had just doubled in speed...

"Uhm....um...." I spoke with a strained voice as I was really starting to get flustered at how close we were to each other...

"You have to be more careful" she spoke up as she tried to ignore our physical proximity from one another, it was hard to ignore the overwhelming feeling of embarrassment and my cheeks getting warm...

"I guess I should..." I spoke but I could barely even hear my own voice as my own body had almost forgotten how to communicate and I was practically getting breathless as this feeling of tension was overwhelming...our faces were inches away from each other when...

Suddenly, gayoung pulled away from me. 

As she made the movement to pull away, my whole body tensed up and all I felt was my heart beating faster as well as my throat getting tighter, I couldn't help but keep looking at her as soon as she pulled away...

Chocol:" I...Uhm- I have to go, it's late and I still need to head back home...so... thank you for your clothes"
she said while she rushed outside.
