Well that just happened. Shit.

I can't wipe the grin off of my face as I grab my keys and head into the kitchen. My next door neighbour, Kaylee, is already in there.

"Hey! How was your day?" She asks with a warm smile.

"It was good, just had my last lecture, haven't really done much else." I tell her.

"Well obviously something happened, I've been living next door to you for 8 months and I've never seen you smile this much." She asks, looking at me with a knowing smirk.

I can't contain my giggle at her words, and I mentally slap myself. Since when do I giggle?

"Oh, just, you know... Luke Hemmings followed me."

"Who?" She jokes, and I roll my eyes before grabbing my pan out of the cupboard and filling it with water and putting it on the hob.

"You know damn well who. But you'll never guess what..."

"What?"

"He messaged me as well, and I didn't even message him!" I squeal, and so does Kaylee.

"That's so cool. I swear, getting that username was the best thing you ever did." She chuckles while she serves her own food and begins to head out of the kitchen.

"It definitely was." I smile, both to her and myself. We bid each other goodbye, and with that, I'm left with my own thoughts.
