"Harry," Louis whispered.
"No," Harry said.
"What?" Louis asked confused.
"To you I'm not Harry," he said.
Louis chuckled, "Ok, then who are you?"
"Hazza, Haz, Hazzabear, any of your nicknames for me, but I don't want to hear you call me Harry," Harry pouted.
"Ok Hazza, you got it," Louis grinned. Harry smiled at him and pecked his lips.
"What were you going to say?" Harry asked while sitting up.
"I'm sorry but I think I have to go soon before my parents get suspicious," Louis said sadly.
"It's ok, just text me when you get home," Harry said and got out of bed to pull Louis up.
"Of course! Did you think I would do anything else?" Louis asked in a dramatic voice.
"No," Harry grinned.
"Good," Louis said and took Harry's hand in his while walking downstairs.
"Well, Anne, it was good seeing you again but I've got to go now," Louis said when they walked into the living room.
"It was nice to see you as well, Louis. And good luck with your parents," Anne said.
Louis chuckled, "Thank you, I'm going to need it."
Anne laughed softly but it couldn't keep the sympathy off of her face. Harry also was a little upset that Louis had to go home to such horrible parents. It's one thing to be homophobic but it's a whole other thing to literally closet your son and cause him to be unhappy all because you don't think it's right for two people of the same gender to love each other.
They walked to the door and Louis stopped in front of it to put on his shoes.
"I don't want to leave, H," Louis complained.
"I know baby, but we'll see each other again at school on Monday and you can also call or text me anytime," Harry said.
"Baby?" Louis asked with a goofy grin.
"Oh I'm sorry, if you don't like it... Oh no I've messed up, I -" Harry panicked but got interrupted.
"No, no, I love it Hazza," Louis smiled, "I'm your baby and you're mine."
Harry smiled, "Yeah."
Louis kissed him deeply before giving him a hug.
"I'll see you later, yeah?" Louis asked.
"For sure, I love you," Harry said before opening the door.
"I love you too. So, so much," Louis answered before walking out. Harry closed the door and stood with his back against the door with a goofy grin.
"Well someone's in a good mood," Anne teased.
"Mum," Harry whined.
"I'm not complaining or anything," Anne put her hands up, "I'm just happy to see you this happy."
"Yeah, well you can thank Louis," Harry said.
"I will," Anne said, "But first I want to make a few things clear. His parents are very strictly homophobic, they won't even let him hang out with you because they think he's gay. I want you to realize the hardships you're going to go through by dating Louis. He's a lovely boy, and I know he would never hurt you intentionally, but you might get hurt anyways in the process. I want you to understand that you are going to go through some difficulties."
"Yeah, of course I understand that," Harry replied.
"One more thing. Louis is going to need to hide you. I don't know to what extent because I don't know his parents all that well, but if he hides you at school, please don't get mad. You would be digging your own grave full of heartbreak and I don't want you to break your own heart because you can't listen to Louis. This relationship you have with Louis is going to require a lot of communication. And I mean a lot. Don't jump to conclusions whenever he does something -" Anne was explaining but got interrupted by Harry.
"I don't jump to conclu-" Harry started.
"Yes you do Harry, now let me finish talking," Anne scolded, "Whenever Louis does something he's doing it either to protect you or your relationship. Sometimes it may even be to protect himself if his parents start doing horrible things to him. If you feel like something bad is happening, just talk to him and clear the air. Otherwise, don't jump to conclusions. Don't overthink everything that Louis does. Just know that he's trying to protect both of your hearts. I know you and Louis are meant for each other and I don't want to see your relationship fall apart because of a miscommunication or his parents. Please don't let that happen. Please talk it out. Please listen to him when he tries to explain what happened. And if you need advice on a situation always remember that I'm right here for you and I always will be."
Harry hugged his mom, "I love you so much. And I will listen to you, I don't want our relationship to fall apart either."
"Good," Anne said and kissed her son's forehead.
They stayed in their hug for a little while longer until Harry got a text.
"That must be Lou," Harry mumbled and extracted himself from the hug to check his texts. Sure enough, it was Louis.
"Ok I'll leave you be," Anne said, "I'll call you down when lunch is ready."
"Thanks, love you mum!" Harry exclaimed and ran upstairs.
