That afternoon Louis goes to Harry's house, not even bothering to be concerned about his parents. They were going to be picking up the girls anyways so he had a solid hour before he needed to be concerned. It took so long because they have to commute to two different schools.

"Louis, what a nice surprise!" Anne said when she saw him entering the house with Harry.

"Yeah," Harry said sheepishly, "Sorry for not giving you a heads up."

Anne scoffed, "Oh nonsense, this is your house and your boyfriend, you're allowed to bring him over whenever you want!"

"Yeah but this is also your house and you deserve to know if there's someone else coming over," Harry argued. Louis almost combusted with how adorable this is. He's never seen someone (other than Harry, of course) argue with their parents for something like this. Harry's so sweet and adorable and hot and-

"Right Lou?" Harry asked.

"Huh?" Louis asked, snapping back to reality.

Harry smirked knowingly, "We'll spend some time upstairs and then come down when Mum's cookies are ready, right?"

"Oh yeah! Of course, I don't even know why you asked me. In fact, I would just stay -" Louis started but got cut off.

"Nope, we're going up! Bye Mum!" Harry interrupted.

"Ooh, Styles, what are you up to?" Louis asked teasingly, giving Anne a little smirk. Anne just chuckled, rolled her eyes, and went to the kitchen to prepare some of her amazing homemade cookies.

When they got to Harry's room, Louis pushed Harry up against the shut door and kissed him hard. When they finally pulled away, both of them were dazed.

"I have been waiting to do that for ages," Louis said, "And I'm sorry I'm not brave enough to do it at school."

"Hey," Harry said, taking Louis' hands, "It's alright. God knows I took forever to come out and that's with the supporting parents I have. I can't imagine how hard it is for you."

Louis gave a half smile, "Yeah. But... I think I'm ready to come out. I mean my parents already know so there's no point in delaying the inevitable. And plus, I would at least get to have some couple time with you at school. I honestly don't give a shit about what people think at school, and the only thing holding me back was the voice in my head of my parents. But I think as the days go on, I care less and less about what they think and I'm fairly sure, if the way they keep treating me is consistent, I probably won't care about them at all either. Honestly, I don't think I even want to care about them with how they're treating me just because of the kind of people I love... what?"

Harry was grinning at him, "Nothing, nothing, I'm just so proud of you! And happy, I've been dreaming of this day forever!"

Louis felt bad that he held off on this for so long. Harry didn't deserve this, but before Louis could tell him as much, Anne called them down for cookies.

"Ah, I'm sorry Harry, but I love the cookies your mom makes - and your mom - much more than I could ever love you," Louis said and opened the door.

"How dare you?!" Harry exclaimed in mock offense before coming to his senses, "Well, I really don't blame you."

"Exactly!" Louis cackled, "Race to the bottom of the stairs!"

They ran downstairs and Harry won (obviously - he's got such long legs!).

"Woah, boys," Anne laughed, "Calm down!"

"Sorry Mum, we were racing," Harry apologized sheepishly.

"It's ok, I'm glad you guys are having fun," Anne smiled, "Here you go!"
