"God, he loved her... He loved her so much, that he ripped out of his own damn heart and buried it underground, to stop it from beating so loud,"- Author.
*Aurora's POV*
I groan, adjusting in my bed, and I pull the blanket over me.
It's nice, when I actually get a good night's sleep... As, it's not very common.
"Bleugh!"
Suddenly, I hear sounds of puking from a distance, and I snap my eyes in confusion.
Is that me?
I blink, before looking down and I realise that my mouth isn't even open... Nope, it's just that I don't consist of brain cells.
"BLEUGH!"
Again, another round of puking occurs but louder this tim--
I gasp at my surroundings.
Dark blue walls... Shit, Atticus!
"You shouldn't lie back in case you choke on your puke." I quickly warn, observing his exhausted body and I catch a water bottle on his desk.
I quickly get up, realising it's him that's puking and I immediately head to the bathroom.
"Shit indeed..." I gasp, staring at Atticus's body, that's tilting over the toilet and looking as if it's drained off any inch of life.
Well... This is why we don't do drugs, kids.
"Atticus... Are you okay?" I hesitantly ask, leaning down to his level, but I instantly move back at the stench of puke, coming from him.
Okay... Now, I may be on the verge of puking.
I block my nose with my hand, flushing the toilet, as I notice he's done, and I grab toilet paper to clean the floor.
"Aurora, stop!" Atticus suddenly groans, trying to grab my hands with his shaking ones, but he fails, due to how weak he's become after releasing everything from his body.
Why doesn't he ever want my help? Like... It's clear he's useless on his own, at the moment.
"Atticus, the only way you're going to be getting up is, if you hold on to me... So I'm not leaving." I state, moving up, and I place my hands out for him to take.
He slowly blinks, trying to focus on my face and he suddenly places his hands down on the floor, before getting up himself.
Okay... I stand corrected.
"I don't need your help, Aurora. Not now... Not ever." Atticus snaps, shaking his head and he grips tightly onto the sink, next to me.
Well... For some reason, my body just loves to ignore that statement, so you're going to deal with it.
"I mean, you say that Atticus. But then you do things like getting drunk and high that causes me to help you so you don't die." I reply, turning the sink, to let the water run for him and I grab the water bottle from his room, before coming back.
Honestly... Why do I feel so pissed today?
My mum stares at me in confusion. "That party? I asked Atticus to take care of you as he was going there too and that prick didn't tell me about this. So that's the real reason you stayed with him that day and you didn't think that I should know? I'm your mum." She asks, raising her eyebrows in shock and she lets out a harsh breath.
Oh... That's why.
I still need to talk to her.
"What happened last night, anyway?" Atticus suddenly asks, peeking at me, as I walk up towards him and I place the bottle on top of the sink.
