Y/N's POV
My mother recently divorced my good-for-nothing father who does nothing but drink his life away while my mother works her ass off at two jobs to pay the rent and bills.
My father couldn't care less about me or my mother so he just signed those divorce papers like it was nothing, I never heard from him since then and I hope it stays that way.
Now, as things began to look up for us, my mother found another job opportunity that paid more than what she makes from her two jobs combined and so we relocated and immigrated to Korea to begin our new life.
"So where are we going to live? We can't afford to buy another house or apartment," I pointed out and my mother patted my shoulder.
"Oh, son, you worry too much about these things, you are only a teenager, and with my new job all you need to worry about to studying hard in school, you got that?" She asked and I nodded.
Not knowing what my mother had in store for me, we arrived in Korea, and waiting for us at the pickup area was a luxury SUV which surprised me.
We hop into the backseat where the driver then takes us over to a nice-looking two-story house surrounded by a fence and gate.
He drove us through the gate and parked the car in the garage, he opened the door for us, and we walked out of the SUV and into the house.
"Ah, welcome! Darling, I've been expecting you and this must be my new stepson, correct?" A man asked and my mother nodded.
"That is correct, my dear, son, this is your new stepfather, he's the one responsible for giving us this opportunity," My mother introduced and we shook hands.
"That's not all, you will also have a step-sister, she's away at school at the moment but you'll see her when she gets here," My stepfather explained and I was a bit nervous.
A stepsister? I was not informed of this but then again my mother never told me she was going to re-marry so I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised.
I surely hope she's kind and not going to be a pain to deal with for the rest of my life because that would be a nightmare for me.
By the time I was settling into my new room which was quite spacious and nice compared to the old dusty one I had to share with my mother, I felt a pair of eyes watching me and I turned around to see an unfamiliar girl who looked to be around my age.
She was wearing her school uniform, her blouse top buttons were not done revealing a part of her collar bone and she had short hair yet her face was cold and gave me the chills to even look at.
"So you must be my new stepbrother, right?" She asked and I gulped before nodding.
"Ah, well at least it's not an ugly stepbrother, you do look cute I won't lie but that doesn't mean you should try anything on me, or else I'll break every bone in your body," She warned and I was flabbergasted.
