Y/N's POV
All night I was job searching after I got laid off from my cooperate job as it shut down leaving me jobless and I needed money to pay the bills.
"Fuck... Come on, there's gotta be something..." I muttered to myself scrolling through the jobs page.
What felt like forever scrolling through minimum wage jobs, an opening caught my eye for the local university that is looking for a part-time teacher for the business & financial department.
I took a look at the pay and benefits although it wasn't as much as I made from my previous job, it was at least a start, and beggars can't be choosers.
Sending my resume and application to the school website, I nervously waited for their reply, to my surprise, after just a few hours I received an email asking if I was willing to do an interview.
I immediately accepted the interview process and scheduled an appointment with them by tomorrow morning.
Shutting off the laptop, I brushed my teeth and took my shower for the night before heading to bed feeling excited and nervous.
By dawn, I woke up bright and early as planned, I got myself dressed and ate breakfast before taking my sedan, I drove over to the school using my GPS as I wasn't familiar with the area and found the school with not much trouble.
I parked my car near the school, made my way into the admin building after reading the map and checked in with the front desk.
"Ah, you must be Mister Kim, the principal is expecting you today, but she's in a meeting right now and will see you in about five minutes, in the meantime you can wait outside her office at the door to the right of the hallway," The clerk explained and I thanked her.
Walking my way through the office, I headed down the corridor saw the nameplate of the principal, and sat outside the door.
"Come in!" I heard the principal call out and I walked into her office.
Walking inside I was rather surprised to see a young woman who was busy working on her laptop but gave me a warm smile as I sat down in front of her.
"Welcome, Mister Kim, are you ready for our interview today?" The woman kindly asked and I nodded.
"I'm ready, Miss... Uhm..." I paused as I don't know her name and she giggled.
"Miss Lee Jieun, so first question, why apply for the position of a teacher at my university?" She asked me.
"Well, I got laid off from my job and need a new one, this position caught my attention the most and best suits my job experience," I answered and she nodded as she typed on her laptop.
She went on to ask me more questions about myself and my knowledge of the economy and such and answered them to the best of my ability which she seemed satisfied.
