Murder Trail.

"Ghost Road is active!"

Purple kept trying to get his sister to quiet down as he evaded the Hackhearse. Forest finally convinced her to join him outside as Purple found a loophole.

"Fuck-" He was so locked in that he didn't see Blue intercept Green behind him.

"You can hit him later. Let him focus." Purple let another swear loose when the master hacker found him again. "I'm not stopping you. Just let him finish. We don't want to lose this chance." Green frowned as Purple cursed softly, managing to force the opposing hacker to take another route.

"I got the cameras!" He pulled them up before rubbing his face. The Knight was on the field, murdering guys left and right while the sniper was firing from who knows where. However, Purple had gotten a camera of the sniper's position. The others were quiet as they scanned the screen. He was in an empty room with the door slightly open. Yellow paused.

"How is he shooting?" Gold glanced at her.

"Aimer Sight? We could ask Red." She hummed before the sniper fired, striking a guy that was about to jump The Knight. Suddenly the Camera fizzed out, gaining a panic from Purple.

"NO NO NO!"

Blue gulped as Purple checked the status. In response, an eerie sound escaped the computer before it showed a green screen.

"Found you."

The computer then poofed, causing Purple to shoot back with a yelp. He gulped before reattempting, getting nothing from the computer. He dropped his head and trembled.

"Sorry-" Blue rubbed his back before Silver spoke.

"The fact that you got a look is impressive in itself. Hackers all over the world never get that far. That was good, Purple." The Midori picked up his head before offering a weak smile. He then went back to his pouting, holding his head down and fighting back tears. Blue gulped as Ruby took the computer.

"Damn... he really took this thing down. I can take it to Emerald to see if he could fix it if you want." Purple muttered a soft thanks as he curled up into a ball.

Emerald cursed softly when Ruby brought the laptop.

"I did the wrong virus-" He instantly plugged the laptop in before opening his own. Sapphire glanced at him as he looked at some coding. "I thought I sent a blackout code. But clearly I didn't. Yeah there-" He scanned the code several times before pulling up a magic screen, which quickly got to work on diffusing the virus.

"What virus did you send?"

"My kill switch. I use it when shutting down a wide network chain." Emerald gulped before Purple's laptop flickered on, the screen being grayscale. "It may take some time to restore this. Tell him that the Hackhearse really struck this computer down and that I will make it my #1 priority. Damn..."

Red, meanwhile, was studying the maps of the building that the others had brought. He hummed as he finally turned to the others.

"It wouldn't be off the table to say that Ghost Road is an Aimer. There are ranks of the Aimers, so he is probably not that big of a rank. Unless-" He fell quiet before shaking his head. "Nonetheless, the only thing he would need is a specific bullet to ricochet around the building." Green paused.

"What kind of bullet?" Red paused before putting the maps down and grabbing his bag. He pulled out his lead gun, Headshot, before unloading it and taking a bullet from the cartage. He reloaded the gun before putting it down and bringing the bullet over.
