Marina and Layla watched {Y/n} go retrieve the frisbee. Layla watched two boys approach her friends. She was going to walk over and see what was going on, but she felt water run down her back. When she turned around she was a smirk on Marina's face.

The two splashed water at each other until they got tired and went back to where they were set up. Marina handed Layla a drink as they waited for {Y/n} to return.

"Ugh, what is taking her so long? She should be back by now," Marina complained, she laid her head back against her chair her green eyes closed not to be blinded by the sun.

"I have no clue. I lost sight of her earlier," Layla says looking through the crowd of people to see if she could see {Y/n} again. "Hey isn't that {Y/n} over there," She points over to where her friend is standing next to some guy.

Marina jolts her head up looking over to where Layla was pointing. "Yeah, and isn't that Itoshi Rin who she's talking to."

"Looks like it. Let's go say hi, Marina!" She stands up excitedly from the chair almost knocking it over.

"No," She grabs her back to the chair. "They're probably talking about things they don't want your opinion on. Let's not disturb them."

Layla pushed her sunset-colored hair off her shoulder, crossed her arms, and puffed her cheeks looking the other way. All she wanted was to know what they were doing, and now she wasn't getting her way. If {Y/n} was here then she would have gone over.

"Oh, please, don't be like that," Marina hit her friend in the head making her pout more.

"Took you long enough."

"Sorry you two, these two guys approached me then by surprise the one who helped me was the one and only Rin, then it was weird. He evened called me Lukewarm, and I hadn't heard that in years, well what felt like years." {Y/n} sighed rubbing her forehead.

Layla jumped out for the beach chair launching herself into {Y/n}. She wrapped her arms around her, "Marina yelled at me, {Y/n}, she told me not to interfere between you and Rin," She whined kicking her feet a little.

{Y/n} pats her friend on the back while staring down Marina who raises up her hands in defense. "I would have liked it if you come over Layla," She says still looking at Marina.

The three sit there at the beach for a while just watching the people, seeing some back their items and leaving. Some parents had crying children who wanted to stay longer, and some others left with friends and lovers.

The sun started to set and the three finally thought it was a good idea to pack up their belongings. Once they were packing everything in {Y/n} car they decided to walk around and find somewhere to eat. Before they could walk away {Y/n} grabbed the two and had them clean off.
