Finally, after what felt like years of hard work and torture, everyone was done with the preparation for the school festival. Now the whole school was only setting up a few preparations for tomorrow. For the photography club, everyone else went home besides Yuki and {Y/n}. Yuki let everyone go home early as they have been working really hard with this whole thing. Along with the end result of the yearbook.
This was the last year for Yuki at this beloved school and she wanted to make the most of it for all the 3rd years. She was ultimately sad about leaving an amazing school that let her imagination run free. On the flip side, she was also happy, happy with the memories she made with the other students, and the more opportunities she would have once leaving.
Yuki hugged {Y/n} out of the blue, taking the [h/c]-haired female by surprise. "Ready to leave, {Y/n}?" She let go of the vice president of the club. Once {Y/n} faced her she gave a big smile showing all her teeth like she was ready for her dentist appointment.
"I guess. But don't do that again." {Y/n} took her bags and took Yuki's as well.
They were the last two students to leave like always when it was busy. They were used to shutting down the school's lights and locking all the doors. They walked out to Yuki's car. {Y/n} put the bags in the back seat before hopping in the front seat herself. Yuki started the car up and let it sit for a while. She looked at {Y/n} for a quick second seeing she was looking out at the window onto the meadow beyond the school fence.
The brown-haired woman stepped on the gas and took off to {Y/n}s house. The first few minutes were quiet. Yuki decided to speak up about jobs. A dreadful topic for both of them, but a topic they needed to discuss.
"What are you thinking of doing after school?" Yuki asked, slightly looking over at her.
{Y/n} sighed, still not sure, "I don't know. It's not like I need the money, but I don't want to live on my parent's wealth forever."
"I can understand that," Yukis says, keeping full attention on the road.
The [h/c]-haired friend looked at Yuki, "What about you? I know you are already going for a magazine company that reaches you personally. But are you going to stay with them?"
"I hope that I'll stay with them for as long as they need a photographer. That is unless they stay at the bottom of the line. Then I might move up." Yuki turned her turn signals on taking a left toward {Y/n} road. "It's too early to say right now. So I'm going with the flow of things while earning money along the way."
The silence took over the car as they got closer to their destination. Yuki made it to the {L/n}'s family household and dropped {Y/n} off. {Y/n} took her bag from the backseat and waved at Yuki one more time before walking into the house. Yuki drove off home with a satisfied smile. Today was a productive day, and tomorrow will be better.
The next day everyone was at the school bright and early, a few hours before classes started. Today no one even had classes anyway because of the school festival. The only person who didn't want to wake up and go to school was Yuu, but {Y/n} had practically dragged him.
