Gen took off his shoes and put his coat on the rack before announcing, "I'm home!"

"Welcome back!" A man's voice echoed through the house. "Sorry, Mom isn't home yet." The man said as Gen walked into the kitchen placing his bag by the stairs.

"It's fine Dad. But when is she getting home?" Gen asked before sitting down at the counter.

"I don't know, she said there is a bit of traffic so she will be a little late." Gen's dad responds. He placed a plate in front of his son that had a sandwich and some chips placed on it.

"Thank you," The boy took a bite of the sandwich before setting it down on the plate, he took the plate with the food up to his room. He got upstairs looking at his phone. He opened the group chat that was blowing up his phone to see Yuki getting flamed yet again.

Gen put his phone down when hearing the front door open. "I'm home! Sorry for the wait!" A female voice echoed through the house. It was Gen's mom, he knew that voice from anywhere. Gen rushed downstairs to the entrance. He took her bag, set it down and took her jacket, putting it on the racket. "Well thank you, young sir." She patted his head before walking over to her husband in the kitchen.

"I missed you, honey." The mom said, kissing her husband. She faced Gen who was playing on his phone, "Did you have super?"

He looked up from his phone looking at his mom nodding his head, "Yeah Dad made me a ham sandwich that was served with chips."

She faced her husband gliding her fingers down her chest, "Well aren't you a chief."

"Ew, Mom. I'm still here," Gen walked back up the stairs to his room. He walked over to his desk. Turing on his PC to play a couple of games for the night. This time he was playing games for different reasons, not just for fun but to distract himself from Yuu's response later today.
