𝗔𝗦 𝗗𝗨𝗦𝗞 𝗙𝗘𝗟𝗟 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣 𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗙-𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗗, everyone returned back to camp, except Darius and Max.  Inside the infirmary, I found myself seated beside Luke's bed, since he was sick.

"Are you sure you won't have some nectar and ambrosia?" I asked, my concern very evident.

"Very sure, mi amor." Luke responded, managing a faint smile despite his discomfort.

"What even happened?" I pressed gently, eager to understand.

"Just a bout of food poisoning." Luke explained, his voice strained. "Nothing too serious, just a very bad stomach ache."

"I heard Tyler accompanied you back." I mentioned, seeking to distract him momentarily.

"He did." Luke confirmed, gratitude evident in his tone. "Helped me make the way back here. It was rough."

"That was thoughtful of him." I remarked, a small smile tugging at my lips.

"It was." Luke agreed, then added softly, "When will you finally join me? You won't catch what I have just by lying here."

I hesitated, a mix of concern and reluctance holding me back. "I worry you might—"

"I won't barf on you." Luke interrupted, making room for me beside him. "Please, just come."

With a sigh, I relented, scooting closer to him, allowing the warmth of his presence to envelop me despite my lingering doubts.

"If you barf on me, I'm going to kill you." I teased, half-serious, as I settled beside Luke, his arm enveloping me.

"You'd never do such a thing. You're too sweet for that." Luke countered with a sheepish grin.

"Stop flattering me." I chided lightly, snuggling deeper into his embrace.
