𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗢𝗙 𝗔 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧, a nightmare jolted me awake, my heart racing with lingering fear. Seeking solace in the cool night air, I slipped on my shoes and ventured outside the cabin. To my surprise, I spotted Annie, her figure cutting through the darkness with purpose.

"Annie, what brings you out here at this hour?" I called out, catching up to her brisk pace.

She halted, turning to face me with a hint of surprise. "Shouldn't I be asking you the same?"

"I suppose so." I conceded. "But I was curious about your late-night excursion."

"I'm heading to the infirmary." Annie confessed. "I want to check on him."

"Because you think he's the one?" I inquired, falling into step beside her.

She nodded solemnly. "Yes, I do."

"I'll walk with you, it's so dark out here." I offered, matching her pace as we made our way towards the infirmary.

"Thanks." Annie replied, casting a curious glance my way. "But what about you? What's keeping you up?"

"Nightmares." I confessed with a faint smile. "Seems to be a common affliction around here."

"Indeed." she agreed, her voice carrying a shared understanding as we continued our journey through the dimly lit night.

"Kathy, I need to talk to you about something." Annie began, her tone serious.

"Of course, what's on your mind?" I responded, ready to listen.

"Could you please consider removing River from our group?" Annie's request caught me off guard.

"You want me to kick out my own brother?" I couldn't hide the disbelief and amusement in my voice.
