>MIKU'S POV<
I smiled brightly as I continued walking to school. Once I reached the entrance I noticed Luka was waiting under the Sakura tree. I ran up to her and gave her a bright smile, she gladly returned it. She then looked at me serious and turned my head a bit before speaking "Miku what's this?" I flinched as she traced her fingers on my cheek slightly. I pulled her hand away and gave her a fake smile "Oh, ugh yesterday....I was...oh! I accidentally got in between a fight yesterday! Yea...and that's what happened!" I said pointing at the bruise on my face. Luka gripped my shoulders and frowned "Why did I leave you alone!" She let go and looked down sadly whispering "It's all my fault." I hugged her and looked at her smiling "It's ok Luka! I'm fine, plus it doesn't hurt that much!" She hugged back and spoke softly "What did your dad say?" I pulled away and looked at her confused "About what?" She pointed to my cheek and I understood what she meant. I sighed and faked a smile "Oh, he just said that he was going to hunt them down and beat them to a bloody pulp if he ever saw me like this again." Luka smiled as we walked to class "Tell him I'll join him!" I nodded my head and waved goodbye as she entered her class. I thought about what I said to Luka as I sat in my seat 'Why didn't I tell her?! I hate lying to her! I really do, of all the people that tried so hard to be my friends, she was the only one that got past the walls I had built up. There was also someone else, but they weren't here. They were in America studying Fine Arts.' I sat there looking out the window staring at the bright blue sky lost in my thoughts. I kept staring until someone called my name. I looked up and there was Len holding a red rose in his hand. He smiled at me "Hello, my Miku. How was your dream last night? Mine was great, because you were in it." He gave me the rose and held my hand, planting a sweet light kiss on it. I felt my face heat up and my heart speed up. I smiled at him "Thank you, my dreams were delightful as well." and he looked away with a slightly tinted face. He winked and walked to his seat as class began to start. I smiled as I looked at the beautiful rose that Len gave me and giggled. I turned to him and gave him one of my best smiles which he returned with rosy pink cheeks. I then turned to face the teacher and waited for the lunch bell to ring, but every once in a while I would glance at the red rose on my desk....
