Chapter 2- Practice makes...ok I guess?

Evan's POV
After meeting Y/n she later on said she would join the Ducks sense theres no reason being at a hockey camp without playing hockey and today I woke up In my dorm with Nick talking to him saying
"Hey Nick? Do you think Y/n can learn to play hockey?"
Nick says "Definitely I mean I was a podcast kid now I know how to play hell I didnt even know how to skate and Y/n knows how to skate so I think she'll get ahold of it!"
Evan says "Yeah, I hope so Y/n has great hockey potential...."
Nick says "Well we have practice later today so we can teach Y/n then!"
Evan says "Yeah, maybe she will get a hang of it!"
Evan then gets up from his bed and leaves the room and goes up to his mom/ Coach Alex and he says "Hey mom are you going to try to teach Y/n hockey today at practice I think she has good potential for the ducks!"
Alex says "Aw Ev you think? I mean Y/n looks very talented she can totally be teached here! I mean the way she skated on that ice was amazing very talented for sure!"
Evan says "Yeah she for sure does I'm sure she'll warm up to hockey in no time mom!"
Alex says "Ok come on Ev its lunch time!"
Alex and Evan go to the cafeteria.
Evan gets his food and sits down with the other Ducks and they start talking he the sees Y/n walk over not sure if she should sit at the table or not
Evan then speaks up and says "Hey Y/n sit with us you're a Duck now which means you obviously get to sit with us!"

Y/n's pov
I got my tray and was gonna sit down with the Ducks I wasn't to sure if I should sit or not I mean I just joined the team like yesterday... just then Evan yells for me to come to the table so I hesitantly sit down across from him...
Evan says "Hey Y/n you excited about being on our team?"
I say "Yeah...I guess"
The Ducks then all finish their lunch and we head over to the ice rink to get some practice in.

Evan's pov again
We went to the ice rink to get practice in we skated onto the rink the whole time I noticed Y/n hesitantly skating she looked like she didn't wanna or know anything about his to play hockey so I skated over.
I said to Y/n "Hey you uh...doing ok? Do you need help learning?" Y/n then says "Uh yeah I'm not even sure how to hit a puck..."
I say "Oh uh...well first you need a hockey stick!" I handed her a hockey stick
I say "First you wanna get your stuck behind the puck just like this ok, Y/n?" I then continue saying "Now just put all your might into it and boom!" I then shoot the puck and score
I say "Ok you try!"
Y/n does what I say...she tries to score but her aim is wonky so it goes the wrong way.
I say "Its ok...I was like that my first time to dont worry practice makes....ok I guess?" I chuckled I then say "Just keep trying you will get it!" Y/n then kept trying for hours she stood there trying to get the puck in the goal and I watched her she finally spoke up giving up saying "I'm done I cant play hockey at all!" I say "Keep trying everyone has their ups and downs you can do this I believe in you put your mind into this ok I know you can do this!" Y/n clearly put what I said into her mind she focused onto the goal...and SCORED! I Said "See! I told you....just put your mind to it scratch what I said practice makes perfect!" Alex then says "Ok Ducks! Practice is over just wait and see what Cole has in store for you tomorrow he never lies about how hard his challenges are! So let's go to our dorm ducks and rest for tomorrows challenge!"

Y/n's pov
Us ducks then head back to our dorms but before I could walk into my dorm Evan grab my shoulder and I turn and he says "I just wanted to say you did great out there Y/n!" He then turns around and goes into his dorm.... I was left there smiling happily about how he teached me how to play...
