Chapter 7 - I may have won but its still heartbreak...♡

Y/n's POV
It was the day after everything with me confessing my love to Evan...accidental...

I told Maya the whole thing and about how I didnt know what to do...

"Did Evan love me back?" "Does he think him ugly?"
"Would he never wanna date someone like me?"

I just kept thinking to myself over and over again like a song stuck in your head for hours.

Of course Team Dominate had to go against a Canada team today but I was just playing on faking sick at this point...

I felt like a failure I ruined Evan's shot and even worse I told him "I like him" what's he gonna think of me now?
I'm a liar? And that I ment to mess him up?! Maybe I should spit out the truth that I do like him.

I wasnt sure on anything..

I liked Evan...no- loved Evan...I just couldn't get my words right about how I felt about him...

Suddenly I heard Maya enter our dorm

"Hey Y/n so are you planning to talk to evan after what happened?" She said in a sad like tone.

I said "I'm not sure, I just cant seem to get the right words out when speaking about Evan.."

Maya says "I'm sure evan will understand your feelings.."

I reply "Yeah, maybe he will..."

Maya could most definitely tell I was scared to admit my feelings to him but I could tell she was very excited about the possibility of me and Evan be a actual couple.

I say "You know what I will admit me feelings..."

Mayas face instantly brightened up and she said "You should all men like brave and confident woman!"

I replied "Yeah, I'm thinking about writing him a note about my feelings and asking him to meet me during night time..."

Maya replys "Go for it!"

Then Maya left so with Mayas support I did what I wanted to I wrote a heart felt nots that said

"Dear Evan Morrow, These last few weeks at EPIC camp have been exciting nice and fun...I've learned many things like how to play hockey, how to make friends and much more but... I always felt different around you, you always made my heart race with every word you said your voice soothed me you calmed me down with every word you said I can't help but feel things for you and not platonically either more of a romantic feeling, I think you're perfect in every way, shape, and form I cant stop myself for gaining feelings for you the way you play hockey mesmerizes me every time I see your face I melt instantly... I like you.. alot, please meet me at night outside of camp..

I deeply poured my heart into my love confession for Evan.

I didn't even know I had it in my heart to write such a letter but I did and I knew what to do.

Just then Coach Cole knocked on my door- of course I forgot about the big game against Canada...

So,I went out my dorm with my letter went into Evan's dorm thank god neither home or One of his friends where in there so I placed the fancy written love letter on his bed.

Then left his dorm to get ready for the big game I did my makeup simple of course I had to look good beating canadians.

I proceeded to fix up my hair brushing it and fixxing it so it isn't tangled.

I then exited my dorm went outside to the bus where we would be drived to place to face the Canadian team I sat beside Aj he was...annoying to say the least all he did was ramble about how great he and his muscles where..

Finally we had arrived the place was so big we instantly went to our area and got our jerseys on.

Then we went out there to play first half Canadian team scored 2 points was only scored 1.

Second half we pulled ahead 4:3 somehow.

Third and final half the game was almost over the Canadian was tied to us I wanted to make Evan proud of me so the last second I scored and BEAT THE CANADIAN TEAM.

Everyone cheered for team Dominate.

The whole ride back to camp everyone was saying how awesome I was during it!

When I returned back to camp I went to my dorm and waited till it was time to meet Evan outside.

Right when the timer hit time I made a move I sneaked out of my door and quietly sneaked through the halls of the camp.

Then I went outside and waited near a tree for Evan.

Right when I saw him my face flushed.

Evan's POV

I had got a love note from Y/n earlier yeah I liked her to but I decided I needed a break with girls after my big break up with Sofi.

So, I went up to Y/n and said "Hey..."

She blushed at my presence and said "Hey Evan so..um what did you think of the letter?"

I needed to be honest with her.

So, I said "I loved it, it was great but I just not ready to start dating again after I broke up with Soft last summer I'm scared to try something new...I'm sorry but I can't congrats on the win but I just can't..."

I then walked away as I saw Y/ns gorgeous smile turn into the saddest frown in my whole life I could tell she was gonna cry I didn't know what to do I just...left her.

Thought heartless by Kanye would be perfect for this ngl sense Evan was kinda heartless in that last part😭
