Chapter 4 - Big Hearts Big Thoughts

Y/n's pov
I started to think about how I feel about Evan and if I like him or not... I mean I told Maya how I felt but... maybe I should tell Evan no that's l forward of me maybe it hint it during a practice...
I got my ducks Jersey and pants on then headed to the ice rink where I put my skates on and waited for the rest of the Ducks usually I was much more talkative but today I couldn't get Evan out my head.
My friend Maya part of the Ducks said "Hey, you ok are you thinking about Evan?~"
I light up and say "No, no! Definitely not!"
Maya says "Oh yes you are!" Then she proceeded to just skate away like she didnt say anything... Then Evan came up to me
Evan said "Hey Y/n! You did great you scored us a win in the duo's challenge yesterday!
He then proceeded to hug me it felt like the best hug of my life.... I just hugged back and we stayed like that for a few seconds then Evan pulled away.
Then Evan said "I'm very glad you're liking hockey so far Y/n!"
I say "Yeah me to...I like it alot..." I thought in my head "Hockeys ok Evan makes it way better..." then Evan skates away I'm just left there deciding if I like him..
Then about 30 minutes later Coach Alex yelled "Ok Ducks lunch time!" Then the rest of the ducks proceeded to skate of the rink and go to the cafeteria and sit down at The Ducks table and talked to Maya she said "You still thinking about Evan?~"
I say "No I wasnt thinking about him at all...!"*
Maya says "Sure, you wasnt listen I know you like him?"
I yelled out loud "NO, DON'T JUST LEAVE IT ALONE OK?"
I then get up from my table and walk away.

Evan's pov
I heard Y/n yell "NO, I DON'T JUST LEAVE IT ALONE OK?" to Maya I was wondering what they could have been talking about maybe Maya pissed Y/n off I felt bad I hope Y/n felt good so I asked Maya "Hey, is Y/n ok?" Maya says "Yeah I was just teasing her about something...and she got mad about it maybe I didnt hurt her feelings...." Evan says "Maybe you should go check up on her huh?" Maya says "Yeah.." then walks off

Y/n's pov
I was in my dorm kind of mad at Maya for all the teasing about my maybe crush on Evan when Maya walked in and sat beside me and started to say "Hey Y/n... sorry for all the teasing about liking Evan I get it you dont you just think hes cool and all-" she was cut off by me saying "No! I....might like him...well I...So like...him very much actually..." Maya looks at me in shock that I just randomly admitted it just like that....

AHH ANOTHER CHAPTER DONE GONNA TRY TO GET THE NEXT CHAPTER OUT TODAY TO IDK IF I CAN GET IT OUT BY TODAY THOUGH ANYWAY NEXT CHAPTER IS DEFINITELY GONNA BE THE CUTEST YET...STAY TUNED!
