Chapter 3 - Coach A Duo!

Evan's pov
Everyone at camp was in the main area ready for the new challenge Coach Cole made to be explained he said it was called Coach a duo where each coach picks two people and coaches them the win against other duos on the ice Me and some other players where hyped!
Then the coaches began to pick their duo Coach cole picked Jace mostly cause he was his son then he picked Nick which was a surprised to me but I was so happy for him then it got to my mom she chose me obviously cause she's my mom then she picked...Y/n!
Y/n walked up beside me to join my duo everyone else then picks their duo all the duos had a time to practice for the big hockey plays we had the wait for Coach Coles duo to get done then we could just then my mom says "Sorry if you dont like your duo, Ev..."
I say "Nah it's cool plus I can teach y/n a lot anyways!"
Alex then says "True so what are you gonna do while waiting for Coach Coles duo get done?"
I says "I was thinking me and Y/n could hang out and watch tiktoks and talk or something!"
Alex then says "Oh yeah! You could totally chill! I'll come over here when it's time ok?" Evan says "Ok mom see you in about a hour!"
Alex then walks away

Y/N's POV
Alex walks away and Evan walks inside his dorm and hops on his bed and pulls out his phone.
When he sees me not hopping on the bed he says "Come on!"
Then I slowly hopped onto the bed.
I played beside Evan while he was watching tiktoks.
I started laugh about the funny ones soon after he started laughing to we had a good time just hanging out and stuff.
Then a hour passes by and Alex leads us out to the ice rink to practice.
I the whole time at practice it was not even really Alex coaching us it was more like Evan coaching me.
After practice we went and got something to drink we both got Gatorade (If you dont like Gatorade pretend it's something you like) and we sat their and drunk our drinks while the other teams trained for the big duo battle tomorrow!

The day of the battle came me and Evan were ready we had our signature Mighty Ducks Jersey on with our sticks out and ready as we skated on to the ice we first went against Aj and his brother Cody/ Fries me and Evan won of course 3:0 I had to admit I was having fun with Evan lots of fun I mean he teached me a lot!.... we went against many other duos but somehow we always come on top I mean I was not even really doing anything it was mostly to Evan's great work with the stick!
Finally it was what I was expecting going against Jace and Nick, Nick wasn't to good at hockey neither was I so it was basically Jace versus Evan... I watched as they fought over the puck to score in the goal I didnt know what to do I was just skating around it was a tied game so far I was super nervous I mean the game was almost over and I wanted Evan to be proud of me... I wanted to score... so my legs just skated to Jace and somehow got the puck from him and skated away as Jace was after me then...I SCORED! I could tell Evan was proud of me...it made me feel good...and fuzzy no I couldn't have a crush on him I just joined the team and met him, so I just shook off my feelings...
After the game I went back to my dorm and talked with my roomie Maya she was part of the Ducks like me! I talked to her about how I feel about Evan I said "Maya...I feel like I like Evan but I'm not sure..." Maya lights up and says "OH MY GOSHHH! YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM!" I say "Do not..." Maya says "Do to!~"

Another chapter finished I was gonna post this chapter yesterday but I got to caught up in school work and everything I feel like aiming for 30 chapters was to much so now I'm aiming for like 20ish in the next chapters I'm planning to add some cute little fluff! 767 words used!
