Jungkook sprinted his way back to Taehyung, wanting to bless him with the amazing news of finding the exact kits to treat his injuries, despite the others hopeless idea of giving up completely on himself.
He couldn't believe, that he actually found the two exact things he needed. An antibiotic cream and elastic bandages. The antibiotic cream, is to treat the huge bruise on the side of Taehyungs hip, while the elastic bandages will serve to treat his ankle, right after Jungkook pops it back in its rightful place, which is something he's not looking forward to, and so is most definitely not even the brunette.
But for the boys sake, Jungkook will do his best to make it as quick, and precise as possible. Has he ever done it before? No. But the thought of messing it up is not an option. He'll just have to act all confident in front of Taehyung, and get it done.
But speaking of the kit before, the rest of the medical stuff was just as useful for some potential problems that might happen, but should NOT happen in the upcoming days they'll have to explore and investigate the rest of the island more.
Jungkook didn't want to keep his hopes up, as the depictions in movies and televisions were definitely not thrilling, and most of the times ended up with terrible/terrifying incidents.
The thought of it gave the raven haired goosebumps.
Brushing those thoughts away, he finally was at sight with the other, sitting not so far away from his sight.
The moment Taehyung caught a view of Jungkook walking towards him, while looking like he was slightly trying to catch his breath, he got slightly uneasy with the thought of the other bringing him bad news, but the glimpse of him carrying a red box, immediately eased him out.
Jungkook noticed and with a proud smile, he raised the box above his head, signaling the brunette that he found what he was looking for.
Taehyung couldn't help but to break a huge smile at the sight, applauding for the raven haired with pure joy.
Jungkook couldn't help but to melt at that sight.
The idea of bringing Taehyung some relief and joy, meant quite a lot to him, and it just made him want to try harder for them to survive on this island. Finally approaching him, he took a seat near the brunettes legs, and didn't waste any time opening the kit.
"I can't believe it...you actually found it"
Pulling out the needed stuff, he looked up at the other, scoffing softly to himself.
"Yeah, me neither."
Jungkook took a hold of the two items, but before taking actions, he first made sure to make eye contact with the other.
"But finding this meant something, and we're not gonna let it out to waste"
He wanted for the brunette to understand, and to never let those depressive thoughts of his to take over him ever again.
Survival is, should and will be, the only motivation for them. Nothing else. Death is none existent.
"Alright?"
Taehyung felt a surge of emotions hitting him, right as he locked eyes with Jungkook.
It was as if he was telling him to trust him, since they were like a team now. And Taehyung immediately understood what he was trying to tell him.
He nodded, verifying the other.
Jungkook took that as a sign, and got to work, as he pushed himself right below Taehyungs feet.
The ankle is first. It was more urgent, since the brunette neglected it, and let it stay dislocated for 4 days straight. And that's definitely not good.
