"Sekiguchi! There you are. Where is Y/n? Is she okay? What happened to you? Are you okay?" F/n couldn't believe it but this would be the second time he'd taken the bus this week which is so out of character for him that it almost makes him want to vomit. "Their doing a rape kit on her and some stitches now. They want to keep her overnight to monitor her but think she'll be home tomorrow." Sekiguchi was trying to get that out without crying. His nose is hurting so bad and he's just bleeding everywhere. "Okay and what about you? Have you seen a doctor." F/n can't believe Sekiguchi is still sitting out here with his nose looking like that. Maybe it would make sense if emergency was busy but there's about two other people in emergency right now and they might just be homeless people. "No I can't really afford hospital bills so I'll just try and work something out when I get home." Saying Sekiguchi was broke is an understatement working for F/n is a full time job and any money he did earn went right back into paying off his parents debt. So he lives in a tiny apartment with no electricity, a tiny has stove and only rice to eat. The only time he turns on the electricity is when Y/n comes to stay over

"I've given you a house to live in and money for food and insurance or whatever." F/n was a little skeptical of what Sekiguchi was doing with the money he'd been giving him and he's going to be pissed if he's done something stupid. "I sold the house. My parents needed money so I just sold it and used all my money from you to rent a new apartment." A part of Sekiguchi is ashamed that he let's his parents push him around his so easily but his job is to look after Y/n not living in luxurious houses. "Start looking for a new place tomorrow, I'll handle the rest. I'll pay your bills this time because you got hurt helping Y/n." , "thank you sir." Sekiguchi bowed in his seat and thanked his boss.

"L/n, we just have one more scan to do then you can go to sleep." One of the nurses was having a hard time getting Y/n out of bed. Y/n mostly didn't want to move because it hurt so bad. They'd tried healing her but her body didn't react well so she it actually only worsened her injuries. "Why am I doing scans?" it's actually stupid o'clock hours of the morning and though Y/n had gotten a little sleep after having the rape kit done it wasn't much. She hadn't even been allowed to see her dad and Sekiguchi yet. "Nurse Numo, I think we should be good with the tests we've done. Probably best to let her rest after tonight." the doctor informed Nurse Numo of the changes so she got Y/n comfortable in her bed again. She bowed to her senior and left to find Y/n's family. "L/n we do apologize for causing you more pain with our attempts to heal you." Doctor Panado apologized to his patient. He's never seen someone react so badly to almost everyone's healing quirks. "That's okay." Y/n really couldn't care right now, she's just really tired. "I will need you to stay over night because I want to monitor you. Has anyone explained your injuries to you." Y/n shook her head at the doctor. "Well most of your injuries were shallow cuts and some pretty bad bruising. We did have to stitch the cut near your ear but that shouldn't take to long to heal. When he did rape you, you did tear down there so you also have stitches down there. You'll need to check for any kind of infection at least once a day and if anything shows up you'll need to come see a doctor here and get some antibiotics. I did have you do a blood test because there's a couple things I'm worried about, one of those i should be able to see tomorrow the other might take a little while longer to see. Do you have any questions?" Y/n went to reply but words didn't come out, she just cried. "I-i want my dad." Sounds childish to cry for a parent but who wouldn't after that. She's in pain and she wants comfort from her dad. God knows if she'll get it, maybe her dad won't believe her and he'll just yell at her. "He should be coming up any minute no-" , "Y/n!" F/n burst into the room and completely ignored the doctors presence and just wrapped his daughter up in a hug. "I'll leave you two alone." The doctor basically bowed to himself then left to check on some other patients.

"I'm so sorry honey. I should have never left him with you. I'm sorry, I'll never let anyone hurt you like this again." Y/n was crying to hard to say anything so she just soaked In her father's apology. "It hu-urts dad." was all Y/n could get out. Everything hurts and it's like a constant throbbing pain is going through her whole body. "I know honey, you just need to sleep." F/n let go of Y/n and pushed the button to make her bed lay down. Laying down was significantly more comfortable for Y/n and had her dozing off in seconds.

"Y/n how are you feeling?" Sekiguchi is finally here but his nose is all bruised and looks broken. "What happened to your nose." I tried to sit up from my slouching position but the pain of moving was still there so I just sat back down. "I broke my nose last night but it'll be fine. I just want to know how you are." , "I'm fine." I'm not really. I couldn't even shower by myself this morning and the nurses had to help me. "Don't lie Y/n." Dad commented from the side of the room. Dad stayed at the hospital with me the whole night and I don't think he slept at all.

"Morning miss L/n." the doctor lady from last night came in but she looked really sad. "Hi." I tried to kinda half wave at her but my hand just looked kinda floppy. "Remember when we did those tests and scans last night and I asked you some questions and you said you had been vomiting blood, getting swelling in your legs, nausea, really dark urine, you haven't been feeling hungry, you've been weak and tired. I also noticed the whites of your eyes are very yellow." she looks really worried and that's making me nervous. "Yeah." I remember telling her all of that but I didn't think it was a big deal. "Well I asked you those questions because the blood test we did picked something up. It's not something very common in kids your age so that's why I wanted to do all the other scans." , "So what is it!" I don't think dad meant to but he yelled at the doctor when she stopped talking. "It's Cirrhosis of the liver. It's permanent damage to the liver that can be caused by many different things but usually it's to do with alcohol abuse and that's why it's so uncommon for someone your age. Unfortunately the only way to I guess cure this is to get a liver transplant and those prove difficult to get. There is medications and treatment to slow it down but they can't reverse it. You seem to be somewhere in stage 3 out of 4 which means it's irreversible and thar without a transplant liver failure will kill you." What. She had to have gotten me mixed up with someone else. "I'm dying....." my voice cracked as tears filled my vision. Dad took my hand and squeezed it gently. "Well what can we do? How long does she have?" Dad's crying again, so is Sekiguchi. "With medication, I'd say till February or march next year. Without, December. The only thing we can do for now is start you on some medication, look at some other types of treatment and start looking for donors." How do I even explain what I'm feeling right now. I've got less than a year to live and there's nothing I can do about it.

I'm crying so hard that I'm shaking and getting snot all over my face. I'm coughing and gagging every few seconds. I feel like I can't breathe. "D-Dad I don't wa-ant to die." I turned to dad and pleaded with him even though he can't do anything to fix me. "You're not going to. I won't let you." dad lifted me up into his lap and hugged me like he'd never see me again. How can he even say that I won't die, he doesn't know that. I'm going to die and I have to just accept it.
