His phone rang once, causing the room to be illuminated by it, and he could see the words more clearly, staring at them as if he had difficulty reading.

His phone rang again, the room still illuminated. Elias kept his eyes on the word "Choi" With his eyebrows furrowed, his eyes squinted, and his mouth slightly opened. There was a lot that was going on in his mind, a lot to overthink. By the sensibility of the book, he could tell it was old. However, the thought repeated in his head. "My last name is there." As if trying to comprehend it, trying to get something out of that simple word.

His phone shut down, and the room was dark again. Dark enough for Elias not to see anything despite him being able to see several minutes ago in the dark.

He finally closed the book, stood up, and walked to his phone, swaying his hands slightly in the dark room as if he were reaching out to something. Until he reached for his phone and pressed the button to see messages from Mildred.

His heart dropped to his stomach slightly, filled with fear by the messages, scared by what they might say. But he unlocked his phone and dared to read them.

"Elias, I am sorry for what happened. I know you're going through a hard time and again I am sorry I am truly sorry." The first message said.

Elias didn't know what he was feeling, it might've been guilt, it might've been pity.

"If it would make you feel better, we could have a drink together." The last message said.

Elias didn't know what he was feeling, it might've been confusion, it might've been acceptance. He had not drunk in a while. Nor he did know if he would want to do it again.

After a moment, Mildred began texting.

"It could make the pain go away." He texted.

Elias had only drunk alcohol twice. He barely remembers the second and yet last time, he only had several mental images of rainbows wherever he went. Objects seemed to be alive and moving by themselves, swaying around with every move he made. It was like a dream. Almost like paradise on Earth. He remembered feeling a little happy, a little joyful, a little relaxed, until he collapsed.

The next thing he knows is that he is outside looking at the bright day, rays of sunlight shining down between the trees and the grass. The grass was beautiful, and so was the day itself, though it had made Elias' heart race faster as he stepped and walked through. Scared of what might be below his feet, it could be anything other than grass. He remembers when he saw Mylo's body buried not even 6 feet into the ground, he remembers how rotten the corpse might've been below that dirt.

He finally steps on the bump and looks down at it in horror.

It wasn't the same shape as before. He thought it was the size of a human as he examined it. It was simply a small rock that had been covered with moss. He stared at it for a moment and dared to kneel to touch it. It was a rock. It was simply a small rock that had been covered in moss.

He became swamped with confusion, daring to swipe his hand through the rock once more, trying to comprehend if what he was feeling on his fingertips was real. He could tell, it was simply a rock. But that's not what he saw before.

The train was as calm as ever, yet it was loud. So many questions were racing making his head boil. There was so much going on, yet nothing at all. It was all in his head.

He then saw Milred sitting on a bench, looking like he was about to fall asleep. Elias doesn't know how much he had been waiting there for, but it must have been long to fall asleep like that. So, he doesn't bother to ask.
