Neuvillette and Y/n attended a performance at the Opera Epiclese, a grand and elegant event that showcased the finest talents of Fontaine. As they entered the opera house, Y/n couldn't help but be impressed by the grandeur of the building.

As they took their seats, Neuvillette couldn't help but notice how beautiful Y/n looked in the dim light of the opera house. He took her hand in his, a gesture that surprised Y/n but also made her heart flutter.

The performance was exquisite, and Y/n found herself completely enraptured by the music and the drama unfolding on stage. Neuvillette watched her with a smile, happy to see her enjoying herself.

However, their evening took an unexpected turn when they ran into Wriothesley during intermission. Wriothesley's expression darkened when he saw them together, his jealousy and anger evident in his eyes.

"What are you doing here with him, my beloved wife?" Wriothesley said, his voice filled with bitterness. "After everything we shared, how could you betray me like this?"

Y/n was taken aback by Wriothesley's words. She tried to explain that there was nothing between her and Wriothesley, but he refused to listen, convinced that she loved him the way he loved her.

Neuvillette, sensing the tension, stepped in to defend Y/n. "There is nothing between Y/n and Wriothesley," he said firmly. "She is with me now, and that is all that matters."

Wriothesley's eyes narrowed, his anger boiling over. "We'll see about that," he said, before storming off into the crowd.

As the opera resumed, Neuvillette held Y/n close, determined to protect her from any further harm. But little did they know, this encounter was just the beginning of a series of events that would test their love and their resolve.

Y/n wasn't able to sleep peacefully that night. The events of the evening had left her feeling unsettled, and she couldn't shake the feeling of unease that lingered in the air.

As she lay in bed, she could hear Neuvillette moving around in the other room. He seemed restless, agitated by the encounter with Wriothesley earlier. Y/n knew that Neuvillette was feeling possessive, and she couldn't blame him after what had happened.

Neuvillette eventually came into the bedroom, his expression tense. He climbed into bed beside Y/n, pulling her close to him. "I'm sorry for my behavior earlier," he said softly. "I just can't stand the thought of losing you."

Y/n understood Neuvillette's feelings, but she couldn't help but feel conflicted. She cared for him deeply, but she also couldn't ignore the fact that Wriothesley still held a place in her heart.
