Rukmini had never met one like Mitravinda before, and the kind of comfort She got in the latter's presence was something She had not known She would feel. Mitravinda felt like the answer of Her Soul, and She could also tell said Princess felt the same too. She could not believe She had not had this till now, something She should have implemented by now.
"Mitravinda," She voiced, unable to say more, feeling Her throat clog with emotions that were powerfully about Their shared essence.
"Rukmini," the light of Avanti responded similarly, Her eyes luminous, brightening up the lamps that were lit cross the chambers, flowers of welcome strewn here and there on the floor, having been used to welcome the two Princesses.
Karenumati had arrived first, and Mitravinda had followed her by the matter of one prahara. It had been clear that She and Her elder brothers had been in an argument of some sort, but She had also not shown Her annoyance or irritation at Her brothers or anyone else, pleasant and sweet as Rukmini could sense Her true nature was.
Mitravinda reminded Rukmini yet again of Herself, of the way Rukmini dealt with the arguments She Herself had with Her brother.
"Why are we just repeating each other's names?" Rukmini laughed, smiling when Karenumati let out a gentle peal of laughter, slowly breaking out of her shyness, eyes sparkling with a light that spoke of some gentle mischief.
"Maybe we are just meant to be doing so, Vaidarbhi," giggled Mitravinda, patting Karenumati's hand gently, Her elder sister persona completely relatable to Rukmini. Rukmini was just as motherly as Mitravinda, and She knew it showed as much for Her as it did for Mitravinda.
"Bhagini, you and Rukmini Bhagini seem to be one to me," Karenumati remarked, unknowingly echoing Rukmini's thoughts, which splashed like paint all over the canvas of Her mind. Rukmini nodded, feeling out what Her heart seemed to be telling Her.
"I feel the same too, Karenu," Mitravinda said, looking at Rukmini, who smiled widely at Her.
"I do as well, Karenumati," Rukmini almost sang, a sudden Joy that seemed both Hers and foreign bursting through Her veins, brightening the entire chambers, bathing it with a myriad of lights.
"Oh," Mitravinda gaped, looking around the chambers, excitement and familiarity the prominent expressions on Her Lotus face.
"What is it, Mitravinda?" Rukmini asked, curious and also delighted at the sheer beauty of colours.
"Bhadra..." She whispered softly, looking at Rukmini with stunningly luminous eyes, the rainbow resplendent in the nayana pankaja of the Princess of Avanti.
"Your cousin? What about Her?" Rukmini asked curiously, eyeing Mitravinda's expression, which was flitting from one thing to the next in high speed.
"She and I, when together, also create such colours," Mitravinda said, still seemingly stunned, though Her eyes looked curiously intelligent.
