Chapter 7

~ Anna's POV ~

It was the end of the day, and I was waiting for Daniel outside of the school. He was talking to his little group of friends, and he called me over.

Oh gosh, I hope I don't embarrass myself. I walked over there and stood next to him. "Guys, this is Anna. Anna this is Hayes, Alex, and Jake." I just smiled and waved to them. I knew Hayes, but I wasn't crazy about him. They waved back at me too. Daniel started talking to them again, then Kelsey and Alejandra decided to scare the crap out of me.

They came up behind me and jumped on top of me. "What the heck guys!" I yelled while hitting their arms. "Last time I checked, I'm not a guy." Alejandra said. I just rolled my eyes. "When are we going to start that dumb project?" Kelsey asked. "Yeah. I want to get it out of the way. Y'all could come to my house if you want and we could work on it." I said. "Yeah let's go." They said.

Kelsey went and hugged Alex, and gave him a kiss. And Alejandra did the same with Hayes. Woah! Since when were they going to tell me this?! Oh wait..I've only known them for a day..so.. Whoops.

"Daniel, I'm gonna go home with Alejandra and Kelsey." "Ok. Text me later." He hugged me. "Why are you hugging me?" "Why not?" He's been hugging me for a good 15 seconds. "Daniel..." "Hmm?" "You can let go now." "I know, but I don't wanna." Daniels friends were staring at us. "Daniel, seriously. Let go. You're not going to see me for like an hour or two. That's not that long." I laughed. "Ok..ok" he pulled out of the hug.

"Bye." He said. I waved bye, and left with Alejandra and Kelsey. "Sooo.." They said. "Sooo what?" They gave me a face, like I should know what I'm talking about. I gave them a confused look. "Come on! Are you dating Daniel or what?!" Alejandra said. "I'm not dating him!" "Why not?" They both asked. "I don't know. Ask Daniel." I said, and they gave each other a look. Oh geez, I shouldn't of had given them that idea.

"Are we done yet?" I asked. We've been working for almost 2 hours. "Yeah. We're done." Kelsey said. "Hallelujah." I said. I checked my phone. I had 2 missed calls from Daniel.

Dang Daniel, guess you can't get enough of me. I mentally laughed. After Alejandra and Kelsey left, I called him back. ** Now you can hear both sides XD (D - Daniel & A - Anna) **

D - Hello?

A - Hey, you called.

D - Yeah haha, what are you doing?

A - Nothing. Alejandra and Kelsey just left so, I'm bored..already.

D - You wanna come over?

A - Sure I'll be there in a bit. What time is it??

D - 8:30.

A - Well can I just stay the night?

D - On a school night?

A - Why not? We're going to the same place tomorrow anyways.

D - Alright then.

A - Ok. Bye

I packed my stuff, and grabbed the stuff I needed for school tomorrow and left the house. I texted Jonah just to let him know that I'll be at Daniels. I walked over, and knocked on the door. And sure enough, Jojo answered.

"Anna, I know you keep coming over for me. But Daniels trying to steal you away. It's ok, I'll get you one day." He said. "It's ok lover boy, keep dreaming." I said to him and smiled. I went upstairs to Daniels room and knocked before I came in. He was on his phone and it looked like he'd been crying ??

"Daniel, what's wrong??" I asked and walked up to him. He just kept looking at his phone. "Daniel?" I asked getting worried. He kept scrolling through what he was looking at, and didn't reply to me. I grabbed his phone from his hands and looked what he was looking at. When he realized I had his phone he got up and walked around the room running his fingers through his hair. I looked at his phone, and he was getting hate. A lot of it.

Quit trying to become famous, it's not going to happen.

You sing like a girl.

You look gay. You probably are.

I don't see how you have any fans.

Save yourself the humility, and quit singing now.

Just give up already.

You really suck at singing.

I looked up at Daniel, and his eyes were getting watery. He was still pacing around the room and running his fingers through his hair. I walked up to him and gave him a hug, a really long hug. We didn't say anything, it was nice.

"Daniel, don't let it get to you. They're all just jealous. I know how you feel. You just have to shake it off, because if you don't, they'll keep doing it. You have true fans who care about you. I bet your fans are telling those people off right now. People really do care about yo-" he cut me off by putting his lips on mine.

What a nice way to tell me to shut up Daniel.

He pulled away, and gave me a small smile. "Thank you." He said. "Welcome" I returned the smile. "I really needed that little speech." "It would've been a bigger speech, but you told me to shut up in the nicest way possible." I smiled. He laughed a little.

"I don't know how this is possible, but it seems like your killing me each day. I know its only been like 3 days, but it feels like forever. I know this is a really corny little speech, but everything I'm saying is true." He said, and he got down on one knee, and grabbed my hand.

What the hell is he doing? I thought to myself.

"This isn't a proposal, don't worry. But I want to know if you would go on a-a you know-" he stuttered. "Date with you?" I finished for him, and he nodded his head.

"I'd love to Daniel." I smiled.
