That night on the way home, marshall and aaliyah didn’t talk to each other until they made it home
Marshall grabbed the bags and aaliyah opened the door
“Do you want me to cook or order in?” Aaliyah asked

“Yeah, i'm gonna go to bed, i'm not hungry” marshall grabbed their bags took them to their room and went to sleep
The next morning aaliyah got a call from ray, telling her that he has big news for her
Aaliyah flew down the royal riveras records in san antonio and it turns out Selena Quinatnilla family is gonna let Aaliyah sing some of selena songs from her english album as a tribute to Selena
Since so many people listen to aaliyah, aaliyah wants people to listen to one of the artist that inspired her to be a singer

“So have you figured things out with Marshall yet?”
“No we’re still not on good terms, i’m scared i’m gonna lose him”
“Aaliyah i want you to put all of that love, fear, passion that you have for marshall into the song, and i want you to be truthful to marshall”
“You’re right, i haven’t been fully honest but i will”
“Okay good, so after we record a song three days later we’re gonna make a music video, sound good”
“Yeah it does”
So when aaliyah started to sing she thought about marshall, she thought of the the first time they kissed, the first time they said i love you, their first everything and aaliyah was going to make her marriage work
After the recording the song was good to go and aaliyah was thinking what she was going to tell marshall when she got back home
Once she got there she saw marshall on the couch
“Hey” marshall said
“Hi, can we talk?” Aaliyah asked
“Yeah” then marshall turned the tv off and sat up straight
“I love you” aaliyah said then she paused for a long time
“Was there more?” Marshall asked
“Yeah im sorry there was a whole lot more” then marshall and aaliyah started to chuckle
“Look if you want, i’ll give you your space aaliyah if you feel like your better off without me” marshall explained softly
“No that’s not what i want, i love you marshall and i don’t wanna lose you, i have been very selfish and i havent been thinking about you at all and i'm sorry i risked my career for you and i will do all over again if i had too, i love you so i want us to figure out our problems it’s just you and me now. Just you and me” marshall eyes began to water and he kiss and hugged her tightly
Aaliyah started to cry, finally their marriage was healing
They talked the whole night, they talked about their future plans but not their hollywood plans, their family plans
Marshall decided to quit the band so him and aaliyah can start spending more time with each other, and aaliyah agreed to start recording from home now, aaliyah also hired more help for the boutiques and to help out priscilla with all the financial things for the fan club and for the recording studio
