After that moment all was lost. I couldn't even tell you how the movie ended. I wouldn't know. I was in the middle of something else.

Our taste mixed together as he stuck his lips on mine. I couldn't help but notice something was different. Better even.

Like when he said he loved me, and I said it back.

He kissed me all the way down my neck and back up to my lips. It was like someone had flipped a switch, like he wasn't my teacher. Or even if he was he wasn't afraid to be something else. Something more.

My heart started beating faster as his lips creased my jaw. I could smell his scent on my clothes as they were pulled off of me.

I thought I was dreaming.

He looked at me through those loving eyes, the ones that loved me.

I could hear the movie pulsing in the background. A focus was controlled by only one thing, and I was controlled by him, and I was okay with it.

We lay there in the silk of the sheets. I can feel him inhaling, exhaling. His pulse matches mine as my head is on his chest.

You know how in movies, they always put a slow song behind these types of moments? Well I could hear the slow song the whole time. The rhythm matched our heartbeat. Slow but pulsating. Like a nervous sensation that you can't ignore.

In the end I remembered the song, the rhythm still matching me.

Still matching us.
