Ezra had to go eventually. Before he did I made a promise. He wanted me to come to his house for dinner the next day. It would be a Saturday, so that meant he didn't have work. He was all mine.
I made him promise.

The walk back to the girls was confusing. I didn't know where Emily and Spencer were, and I couldn't go straight through the woods or Hanna would spot me.
It was time for the scavenger hunt, it was the only chance we had to catch 'A'!
When I found my way to the entrance I went back into the woods towards Hanna. So it would look like I hadn't left the sign up sheet until then.
Hanna was acting odd when I got there. Like she had seen something she didn't want to.
"Hanna, what's wrong? You look like you've just seen a ghost!"
"Call Spencer and Emily!"
I took my my phone out and dialed as fast as possible. My fingers trembled, as I had an awful thought.
What if she saw us?
Emily and Spencer came bolting toward us.
"What's wrong? Did you see Noel?" Emily asked.
"I saw a guy in a black hoodie write a message on a car. It looked like Noel, but I can't be sure,"
"What message? What car?" Spencer asked.
I turned around making sure Ezra wasn't around. Thankfully there was no sign of him.
"I don't know, they left right before Aria came,"
My heart sank back down into my stomach. She knew something.
The four of us walked back to the parking lot. I walked by Hanna so she couldn't tag along with Spencer or Emily. I'm afraid she'd confront one of the others before me.
"Should we split up again?" Hanna asked.
It seemed like she was watching my every move.
"I don't know, if 'A' is gone then I guess we can just relax. Keep our eyes open though," Spencer responded.
"Okay, I'm gonna get something to eat," Emily started to walk away.
"Guys? Do you hear that?" Hanna turned around and walked further into the night.
"It's probably just the wind," I said.
"Or some animal!" Emily stopped waiting for us.
"Yeah Han, just come on back!" Spencer tried to turn off her curiosity, but it wasn't working.
Just then a car came out of nowhere! It revved up its engine and started to move. Hanna's back was turned as she was walking back.
"Hanna! Stop! Move out the way! Hanna!" We screamed at the same time.
The car was going too fast.
The car ran right into Hanna, and drove away. Like that was it's mission.
Hanna lay doubled over as we shouted for help.
Spencer shook Hanna over and over, her body went limp before anyone arrived.
