chapter 4: shadow

Maka sat blossem down beside kid and brought me over to were soul sat, with his legs perched on the long curved desk. Before sitting down beside him I watched him, the way he sat so, calm and cool. So collected and handsome, the way his hair sat with his head band. Ugh, just so sexy.

Maka sat with tsubaki, I sat down and opened up the book that was in front of me. I heard a chuckle come from soul then he sat up." You aren't actually going to read all that, are you?" He looked at the book then back at me, I smiled. " I may not like class, but I still want to kick ass in all my classes. Or do you just like to play it cool, roll with whatever grade you get?" I made a wave motion with my hand and he smirked at me.

"No, I don't just roll with it. Me and maka try hard in class, I don't like it but, well same reason as you," I leaned back in my chair, stien was going on and on about how experience is key to success. But I was barley listening, with soul sitting next to me I couldn't concentrate. I gave out a small sigh and he must have heard me, because he sat up and looked at me.

"You, OK? Shadow?" He smiled at me as I blinked off my small day dream, he leaned back and chuckled. "Just day dreaming are you? Mm mm," I looked at him and raised an eyebrow. " you act like you know what about," smirking he threw an arm around my waist and pulled me close to him, leaving my face hot.

"Don't we all, babe?" He pulled on my waist even tighter, leaving no space in between our body's. I could feel his breath hot on my hair, and his hand rested on my waist. Then out of no were there was a bell, soul stood and gave me a little wink. Maka helped me up, me being awestruck and all.

We walked over to blossem and kid, who were both chatting happily with soul.

"Liz and patty are in detention. They attacked a student." Kid was saying as we walked over. He looked at me and soul." Say, do you and shadow want to come over to the manor today. With maka, blackstar and tsubaki of course." He beamed. I shook my head yes and the others agreed. Blossem looked as though she was in love, I suppose I did too.

We walked out of the academy and soul stopped beside me, turning toward me he smirked." Hey, are you a party girl?" He asked, I nodded." Is maka smart?" He rolled his eyes at me." Good cuz' I'm bringing some booze too kids with me, and I don't want to drink alone," he took a step toward me, making me catch my breath as he pulled at my waist with both hands.

"I'm warning you, I like to tease," I said, we were so close, almost kissing distance. " don't worry," he pushed himself away and turned to walk away." So do I." Then he hopped on his bike and left.

Damn, holy fuck. Sexy man he is, I thought. I walked down the steps toward blossem, tsubaki and maka. Just waiting to see him again, see soul.
