Ch: 32 shadow/ soul

"Come on it'll be fun," Seth had led me into the forest, leaning against the tree. He wanted to show me around, but, he wanted me to ride him in wolf form.

"What if I fall?" He shook his head, I crossed my arms.

"Just once I promise you won't fall," he changed making me jump, and he laid down on his stomach.

I exhaled loudly, "fine, just once," I climbed into his back and held on, trying my hardest not to hurt him.

When he stood my whole body quivered, it was like nothing ever, considering I've never rode a horse. He turned his head back at me, I nodded.

He walked at first, and it wasn't that bad, but then he was into a full sprint. And I couldn't help but laugh and giggle, it was fun!

He twisted and turned through the trees, until we got to a little lake in the middle of the forest. He lied down, panting a bit. I stepped down and pet his wolfy ears.

He stood up and I stepped back, he transformed again. His bare human chest glistening with sweat from running.

"So, what do you think?" I pulled my eyes away from his chest, and smiled.

"It's lovely, I had no clue this place existed," he stepped closer to me, running a had through his hair.

"I discovered it not long after I turned, it was easier to explore so," he chuckled softly, I looked around at the dark forest. And shivered.

"Are you not cold?" I asked, he shook his head, "no, the molecules in our bodies keep us warm, considering that they're always moving,"

Yeah that did make sense, but I was kinda cold, he must've noticed cuz he walked over and hugged me.

He was warm, and I stopped shivering. It reminded me of soul....

"You know, the water is warmer then the air, come for a swim with me," he pulled back to look at me, smirking.

I smiled my most innocent smile, "of course," I pulled myself away and ran toward the lake, pulling my top off in the process.

He wasn't far behind me, but I was already in. Wearing my short shorts as bathing suit bottoms, him in the shorts he still had.

"Mmm you were right, the waters nice," I swam around, letting the water run through my hair.

He swam closer to me, grabbing my foot and pulling me close to him. "Yeah, kinda relaxing,"

I blushed, I was right up against his chest, and his hands were around my waist.

He leaned into my ear, sending shivers down my spine, damn he moved fast.

"Play with me,"

Souls POV

I laid on the couch, my third bottle of vodka laying empty on my chest. Kid was in the kitchen, blossom had gone to the mall with the girls, excluding maka.

I groaned loudly, "ughhhh!" Kid walked in shortly after that, his arms crossed.

"Soul?"

"What?"

"You should probably stop drinking,"

"Why?"

"It could kill you," he stepped closer to me.

"Better then listening to you and blos for two hours straight...."

Kid was now right in front of me, tapping his foot. I looked up at him, "I also have something to ask you,"

I hummed for him to ask, "did you tell shadow that she was your first...?"

My eyes widened, he had his arms at his sides. Of course, she wasn't my first, kid was by some odd chance. But it was true.

"Yeah...I did..." I sat up, my head spinning from the vodka.

"Why? That's a lie," he crossed his arms again, looking at his socked feet.

"I know...I just...we both know me and you aren't gonna be in a real relationship, and it was chance that we even happened," he looked at me.

"The day I told you I liked guys and girls you started hitting on me, and I thought that maybe we would happen. And when we did I was shocked, your the one that continued our late nights."

"That's doesn't matter now, I told you when I broke it off that I didn't want you anymore, not that way at least. And I get it, you were technically my first, but I can't tell her that..."

Kid made a face, a cross between sadness and disgust. "Mmm clean this room up, the girls will be home soon,
And they don't need to come home to this,"

Then he turned and walked out.
