Chapter 14: kid

I was waiting out the door to souls room, blossem was yelling at shadow then she stormed out with soul.

Blossem walked out and looked at the ground. I took a step towards her, she threw herself into my arms and hugged me.

She pulled back and smiled. "Sorry about that, you didn't need to see that." she rested her head on my shoulder.

I rubbed her back and she leaned up to kiss my chin. "Its ok, darling, it's fine."
We heard the front door slam, and blossem walked toward it.

I peeked out the window with her to see soul and shadow driving away.

I saw shards of tree branch on the ground, I ran to the door and outside.

I saw it, the horror, my tree. My tree was broken, a branch was ripped off!

"My tree. is. fucking broken!" I fell on the floor and hit the ground. "What the fuck! Shadow or soul, why!" I hit the ground one more time and blossem sat with me.

"It's ok, we can fix it," she kissed my forehead. I nodded, and we went back inside.

We went to my room and laid in my bed, I wrapped my hand around her waist. she fell asleep.

"I love you, darling." and I fell asleep with her.
